while seeing Maya return would be cool, I think I'd be happier with seeing Gumshoe back. He hasn't had a serious role in the main series since T&T, and I don't really understand why he was retired. Ema and Fulbright just don't compare as detectives, imo. Maybe I'm missing something as I haven't played Investigations 2, but still. Also, what a random choice to have Desiree Delite in the first picture.

I already knew for a couple of years now that Kamina was gonna be killed off. I just didn't think they were kill him off THAT early. Sucks that he does die though. He was a cool character.

I just want to know what happened to both of them and how come they weren't in Duel Destinies (I especially want to know what happened to Gumshoe).
Hopefully we will get some good news this week.

It's very good. The story and characters are awesome with some funny bits in between, and as for the action, it is mindless fun. Has it or will it become one the greats like FMA and Cowboy Bebob? Debatable, but I think it is. I definitely recommend it, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't care for anime. It's on Netflix if you want to see it.

Trust me when I say, it is absolutely an amazing series. Don't listen to those people that say it's all just "mindless fun" cause that is such utter and complete BS! Yes it is one of the most over the top ridiculous and action-packed anime out there, but it is also one of the most emotionally powerful and expertly character-driven series as well! It's funny, it's intense, it's emotional, it's crazy, it's MANLY AF, it's all of these things and more! I say with utter sincerity that it's one of the best anime I've ever seen!

To be honest, from what I understand, it really would have made more sense if Phoenix wasn't the main character in Dual Destinies. It should have been Apollo (not biased at all ).
We could have had the start of a second trilogy featuring Apollo. As it stands, Phoenix feels kinda shoehorned into Dual Destinies' story. It was very clearly about the other two characters more.

I don't think the new art means anything, but at the least, it's nice to know they haven't forgotten about the characters (Desirée DeLite is a bit random though).
I think the deal with the Capcom France Twitter saying "no plans for DGS" is just typical PR speak for "we wouldn't be allowed to tell you even if there were plans" - they followed it up later with "we don't know if there are plans for this title", so make what you will of that.

You can change the voices for characters, but that is separate from music.

Phoenix confirmed for Street Fighter V.
...I would totally buy a PS4 just to play as Phoenix.

Also, having Miss DeLite in that photo next to Edgeworth is weird. I expected Kay Faraday to be honest (she's Edgeworth's "Maya" in the Investigations games).

Well, if you have been wrongfully accused and disbarred for 7 years, you would still be livid about it.
Though, the Phoenix we see now is a lot more confident and mature, so his more serious tone does reflect this. Phoenix was still his usual self in Duel Destinies, but he acted a bit more like his mentor, Mia.

Really? I thought the ending was okay. It did it's job and closed the series, but I did find it lacking.

Didn't know they were notorious for that (even if I think that's possibly debatable). Then again, I'm not all that into anime, so I wouldn't know.

But I have seen my fair share of crappy endings: NGE (never seen it but I'm familiar with the ending), Halo 2, Mass Effect 3...

Probably should've specified that better. She's not needed for the series, I think.

• Rookie Lawyer: Already covered by Apollo. Instead of creating a new story, continue the one left hanging.
• Assisstant With Very Similar Personality To Maya: Remember Trucy? Phoenix's daughter? The 2nd least important character in the game? She could have filled Athena's shoes nicely.
• Cool Power: Reading emotions. Isn't that part of a magician's shtick? Again, Trucy could have done it.
• Very Similar Backstory To A Certain Character: Y'know the one. Couldn't they try something new?

This is just my opinion, so feel free to disagree, but my thoughts ain't changing any time soon.
