Ayyy, no worries! My father and I want a cat but my mum's allergic to them; my mum wants a dog but my father doesn't like them, so I can't win. My friend also owns a dog called "Nero" (he wasn't named after the DmC character) but he's always downstairs and he's a little on the aggressive side. He always tries to bite my feet, that said, he's still such a cutie!

Just think, in a couple of years, you will likely be out of your folk's household and you will be able to get any pet, unhindered! Get a dog, get a cat, get a bird, get a reptile, heck, get a monkey if they're legal where you live!

I'm only three chapters in yet, so I haven't gotten to the really challenging stuff. The fog of war was annoying, but it just means you have to take it more easily than normal. Getting into the habit of capturing enemies instead of just killing everything is interesting (gold is rare as hell in this game, so the only realistic way of getting new weapons is to capture enemies and steal their stuff). It makes you think more than usual, since you need to do the maths and calculate your attacks so the enemy is left with about 1-5 HP, so a heavy unit can come in and rob them blind (there's even a few characters you can only recruit by capturing them and keeping them alive until the end of the chapter, which is really annoying since the unit that does the capturing has to survive on rubbish stats for the rest of the map).

I have yet to get to the real bull****, like fatigue, and healing staves that can miss.

I knew someone like this once; she had 2 dogs, 3 cats, several hamsters and rabbits, a chinchilla, and a . We used to joke about her house being the local zoo

So, I'm at a friend's house for a sleepover this weekend. We had a picnic, laughs, definitely such a fun time so far! But one thing that's really exciting is her new kitten. She is the cutest kitten ever, and is VERY affectionate towards me. Last night, she slept beside me, curled up into the cutest ball, she literally follows me around the house, and I can hear her purr all the time. Maybe this is a normal thing, but I'm simply so fascinated as I've never owned a pet dog nor cat, but some fish a long time ago.

She's tickling my toes as I'm typing this~

That sounds SO CUTE! I prefer dogs myself, but cats certainly have their own charm!

Lol! But the fat cats are so adorable. But yeah, my friend's kitten did kinda lead to me having a somewhat broken sleep last night because she kept poking me. I got to file her claws though, so luckily it didn't hurt all that much.

That said, she is quite the mischievous lil' kitten when she's hyper.

Not entirely related, but I can't help but recommend Alisia's Dragoon after reading the concept of a pet dragon...neat brawler/platformer-esque game on the genesis.
