I'm only three chapters in yet, so I haven't gotten to the really challenging stuff.

Leif gets captured and separated from the rest of the party, who flee in order to plan his rescue. Leif gets all his weapons taken away, and has to start the next chapter empty-handed (at least his stuff isn't lost forever, it's hidden in chests in the next chapter). You do get plenty of new recruits to make up for the fact that Leif is now on his own (but they almost all start with no weapons as well).

Pit actually likes Young Link because noone else likes him. Everyone(except Palutena for...other reasons) is either obsessed with Link the cheater(never go easy on someone again Pit), or Link the Cartoon Warrior. They became bffs, and they both hooked up with Zelda...10 times...for every awesome Zelda in the world.

Glaceon is actually my third favorite Eeveelution, right behind Vaporeon and Umbreon.

Agh, I mostly hated this whole section of the game of Leif and co escaping... I remember how much I was enjoying this game and loved the whole capturing enemies and stealing weapons to use or to sell. Then I got to chapter 4... I stopped during chapter 10... There's like six ballistas iirc...Not only that, but 2 particular units that can give you such a hard time.

I would recommend Sacred Stones. Save Radiant Dawn for last.

FE6: Binding Blade/Sealed Sword/whatever the title is called is pretty good. Just prepare for whatever RNG related BS the game throws at you. Including Roy's stat growths.I recommend Heroes of Light and Shadow as well as it's pretty fun and has introduced the basic elements that Awakening popularized, namely Casual mode and playable Avatar. But those two games are Japan exclusive though so you have to be a pirate and play it through emulators.

Contrary to belief though, Binding Blade does not remain ungodly hard for the entire venture. It's only up to Chapter 8X with that godforsaken Hero with the godforsaken Hand Axe.

RNG is still a giant kick in the ass though. Recommend stocking up on a few Slim weapons and keep a hefty amount of Gold, especially for the Secret Shop in chapter 21 (GET THAT SILVER CARD IN THE DESERT HOWEVER YOU CAN).

Sacred Stones is the most easily obtained (either 3DS Ambassador, or Wii U VC).
If you're open to using emulators, you could also try some of the Japan-only ones; the picks of the bunch there would be Genealogy of the Holy War or New Mystery of the Emblem. There's also Sword of Seals for our boy .

I highly recommend New Mystery of the Emblem as it is closest in design to the newest FE because of the heavy emphasis on the player phase, it's also an excellent strategy game overall and is vastly superior in design, character and story to Shadow Dragon. I think you've completed enough FE games to consider Radiant Dawn a go if you can get a copy especially since you've beaten PoR. Also try Genealogy of the Holy War (I don't think the gameplay pace of Holy War is that great anymore but the overarching narrative is fantastic), or if you're crazy like me you can try Thracia 776 as their second FE game (I'm surprised I still stuck with the franchise after the nonsense in that game).

Steven Universe is pretty good too, but I personally think Gravity Falls is the better of the two. It's more consistently high quality and has reached heights that Steven Universe has yet to match, I think.
