Pointless, when separated, they kinda are.
I do wish they could bring back Ivysaur but evolve him into Venusaur.

I think having Venusaur and Charizard together would be cool because it would represent Pokemon Red and Green (and the remakes).

Yes, doesn't help that I'm not much of a Pokémon fan, but if they're a grass type, pock the coolest looking one and add them(or bring back Ivysaur).

The only major things I would suggest working on is mixing up your ledge get ups and landings, you would often roll up from the ledge which would give me a free pivot grab or U-Smash. With your landings I would often be able to get a free grab as well, you can't safely land in front of Link ever because his tether grab range is huge.
