Guys i don't understand the "chakemate" picture on twitter , can someone explain it to me ? also did you try the Dthrow → Arcthunder → grab → another Dthrow → to any Aerial or smash ? does it seem reliable ?

"Checkmate" is the name of Robin's D-Throw -> Up Air.

The name is a spin-off of Diddy's well-known "Hoo-Hah" (Which is D-throw -> Up Air).

I've set up a tourney entitled "Customs, 1v1!"

It should be open in the list of available tourneys. It's open to friends only, so you should have no trouble getting in.

Now these tourneys are a bit weird, so just to get a feel for the ruleset, I've set the win-cap to four victories. In other words: we fight each-other in a series of matches and whomever gets four victories first is the winner.

I dunno if you can set it to 1v1 specifically or you have to gentleman it. It's kind of strange.

I would love to join, but i'm leaving home till Sunday soon.

We should at least know that Robin's D-Throw into Up-Air isn't guaranteed like what the Hoo Haa was.

It'll be similar to ZSS and Sheik's 50/50 situation where you have to wait for the attack and it depends if the Levin Swird is active.

I still believe D-Throw into D-Smash while waiting on the air dodge is very effective.

Even then he's still mid tier. Still not better than but better than the other FE characters.

I'll put him on the same level as &

I'm deleting all my replays which are incompatible with the current version and some of the names of these replays (baring in mind that most of them were sent to me) are absolutely hilarious.

Some of them range from "i hate this game" to "stop" to "tfw sanic".

So I arrived from a long trip and the first thing that I see in the Smash subreddit is that we got an AMAZING throw, so maybe late to the party but HYYYYYYPEEEEEEEEEEE. The new checkmate looks damn good and the Arcthunder combos are real. I had some doubts about sticking with Robin but now I'm definitely sticking with him and show her real power. So you could say that is time to tip the scales

It took a lot of courage for me to come out with that.
I feel like I get ignored sometimes and feel left out in conversations. Y'all are so much more knowledgeable in things than I, whether it be FE or Smash. I'm afraid to post because either 1, I'll get ignored or 2, I'll sound like an idiot and embarrass myself. It also doesn't help I don't have many people to talk to either. D:
