Am I the only one who preferred the Brawl version of Peach?

She was hella fun to play as then. All of her hits felt satisfying to connect with, especially her up aerial. (Shame on you, Up Skirters:alakadoof:)

She still is fun to play as, but now, she feels...awkward and her attacks seem less satisfying to hit. (imo)...like she gained weight. All dem cakes.

:drsad:I miss Brawl Peach so much. :drsad: Maybe it's just the sound effects..

Eh. Smash 4's balance is fine. Questionable decisions here and there, but still fine. We could probably have a Smash game with the best versions of the characters.
.... and it would be broken as all hell!

Him being broken made him a technical character, because all of his moves were ludicrous, especially Mach Tornado and Shuttle ****ing Loop.

3DS/Wii U MK is still a technical character but:
- dash attack
- grab
- down throw combos (lol)
- UP AIR UP AIR UP AIR UP AIR UP AIR UP AIR UP B
- fsmash
I want a Smash game like Brawl Minus. Balance the game where everyone is broken.
Robin would have infinite tome and weapon usage, but every special has him throw away a tome, meaning that he can grab an item instantly every time.

I haven't played Meta Knight too much in this game. His changes depress me. :(

Idk why they changed Fox's voice to that. You get used to it after a while, but the first time I heard his voice in Smash 4 I had to pause for a sec and was like

Shiek was #1 in Melee too?

btw @ Raziek Raziek can we do those matches today or would another time be better?
Melee's early tier list was kinda weak. Jigglypuff was mid-low tier at one point and Mewtwo best out Kirby and Pichu as the worst characters. There's also the fact that Falco was better than Fox, Captain Falcon was pretty low and Peach was considered average.

Later, we find Sheik isn't as deadly or strong, Puff and Peach were damn good, Captain Falcon rose up to high levels and Fox was the king of the hill

You know, gaming society is really interesting to me.

Gaming is easily one of the most expensive hobbies out there, especially nowadays with so many different consoles costing hundreds of dollars apiece. Because of that, we as gamers are putting A LOT of faith and trust in these companies to provide us with quality systems and games. So in that regard, I think that we have every right to point out when a game has legitimate flaws and issues that should be fixed, either through sequels or (more recently) with patches. When there is legitimate and justifiable reason, gamers shouldn't be afraid to speak up and request the best possible product for their hard earned cash.

On the other hand, I think that gamers can be some of the most whiny, self-entitled prats on the face of the Earth! Our ability to systematically tear down a game to it's very core, to find the most minute details and issues to b*tch about is honestly staggering.
If so much as a PIXEL or FRAME is out of place, no time is wasted in jumping the companies sh*t for DARING to sell us something that isn't 200% perfect! And we can never just be happy with what we have, OH NO! We have to cry out for the "good old days," or immediately demanding sequels that fix every and any minor issue we might have. It can be MADDENING!

But then the question becomes, where is the line drawn between a legitimate complaint and selfish begging? That's not so easy a question to answer because there are just too many different kinds of people who are gamers. Everyone has their own thoughts and ideas on what makes a "great" game, or possibly even a "perfect" game. In the end, I don't even know if a "perfect" game can actually exist. What I do know is that I think Smash 4 (and ALL Smash games for that matter) is a fun and enjoyable game, and that's good enough for me. Sure I want things too, and I can be just as greedy (gimme that chargeable Water Shuriken goddamnit!) but I do think that sometimes we need to sit back, take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy a really good game!

As I said, we as gamers do have a right to ask our companies to provide us with the best possible product, and to NOT be shoveled sh*tty games. But we shouldn't be so quick to selfishly demand games to follow our every whim and desire.

That's all. Carry on!

No actually Brawl Peach was hella solid actually she just couldn't kill but her pressure was hella good. MK ruined her day and I believe Marth as well someone don't quote me on that. I always hated fighting Peach even back then.

About Brawl I miss all the tech that came with it and Brawl Falco and his scumbaggery.

From what I understand, it is the same person who voiced Fox back in Star Fox 64 and it appears Nintendo got the SF643D voice actors back for Star Fox Zero.

I've been playing meta knight a lot since release but I suck with him. I don't think I've ever managed to pull off an up air combo, not even on a cpu. The main reason I play him is because he's my favourite kirby character.

Ness players can be cheap but short hops are pretty good for dodging pk fires.

Honestly even if Smash 4 Pikachu is a buffed Brawl Pikachu, I still miss the latter. Stronger NAir, chain grabs, QAC (I love Smash 4 QA tho. Love it. Embrace it), up tilt being a KO move; Thunder (meteor cloud is still cool lol) and... I guess that's that?

Peach was largely irrelevant in Brawl because she got **** on by MK and Snake. A good ICs matchup was one of the few things she had going for her.

@ Nah Nah : I can probably play some today, but it wouldn't be until later tonight. I get home around 6 EDT and have some other things to take care of first.

I miss Brawl :zerosuitsamus:. She was just insanely fun with her whip shenanigans and her range on those were dangerous.

Not to say :4zss: wasn't great but I miss her whip game. They replace most of that with her rocket Booths which shouldn't be the main focus on her as much

Speaking of Ness and salt, the other day I was playing on Anther's and I killed someone with Zelda's back throw and they got angry. They mained Ness. :^)

yeah. Ness in the first round again, it did not go well :/ I at least didn't lose 2-0, but that was about the only positive to take from that game
Damn that sucks to hear. The only thing I can say is to get more experience in the Ness matchup.

Okay, for srs, things I miss from Brawl:

- :wolf: :snake: :popo:
- Subspace Emissary (or any kind of competent adventure mode)
- All of the cut stages
- All of the cut music
- Fox and Falco's voices
- Marth's fluidity of movement

I'll make a list of things I miss from Melee in a moment~

I can agree on certain things. SSE can stay go, Melee's Adventure mode was much better and I prefer 4 Falco over Brawl Falco.

And last a lot of Brawl's stages can stay away like Hanabow, Rumble Fall, Frigate, Mario Bros and Spear Pillar.
Now Pirate Ship and New Pork City (only for 8-player Smash) is something I can like back

Lemme guess, the infamous PK Fire, fair fair, PK Fire, back throw, OKAY combo?
Sorry that you had to fight a Ness first, though. :(

Hey, at least the chain grabs made Brawl faster.
... Did it really?
Chain grabs gave the illusion that Brawl was faster.

Honestly, besides random tripping, chain grabs was the worst thing about Brawl.

Sonic's voice too pls
tbh if there was DLC for voice clips for the old VA's I'd pay in a heart beat

I miss :sonic:'s VA idc what anyone says.

That was at the high point of Griffith's tenure as Sonic, and the voice work was perfect.

We talking about what we miss from Brawl?

Subspace Emissary is the one thing that I miss the most

Bring it back and I'll be happy :happysheep:

Screw Griffith and Smith. I want to hear Junichi's voice in the English Smash 4.

He's :4sonic: best voice actor
