Warning! Possible spoilers for The Binding of Isaac!
Isaac is the main character of The Binding of Isaac, an indie roguelike first released in 2011. In the game, your mother hears a voice that claims to be God. She is told to take away his possessions, which she does. She is then told to lock him in his room, which she then does. Finally, the voice tells her to sacrifice her son to prove her loyalty to God. Isaac, who saw his mother coming to his room with a knife, fearfully looked for a way to hide, finding a trapdoor in his room. He jumps down, beginning the game where you must fight your way out using your tears and various items you come across.

Isaac has plenty to use in his moveset, from his more basic moves like shooting his own tears as projectiles and using various bombs, to his more bizarre ones he gets from items like spitting out chocolate milk to attack.

The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth is available on Nintendo Switch, Wii U, and New 3DS.

If you would like to see Isaac in Smash, please post here and show your support.

Surprisingly; I think Isaac's lack of clothes is what's holding him back the most at this point.
Now that I think about it, probably. Bayonetta's games are really violent so that shouldn't hold Isaac back, and Simon's games are chock full of religious stuff so that isn't a problem either.

You know good and well in Binding of Isaac they make it clear as day what they are referencing to in a not so classy way. There's a difference between how Binding of Isaac presents religion and how the other three do.

A clear difference.

Isaac would have one of the most inspired movesets in the entire game and I'd be down to see that.

I made a moveset for him recently. Well, two of them, but this is the better one.

Entrance animation: Lays down sideways in a fetal position, before straightening himself up.

Jab: Shoots out tears.

Ftilt: Shoots out tears while walking forward.

Utilt: Flips a Wooden Nickel. 50% chance to reduce cooldown of a random item in cooldown by 5 seconds. You can tell if you were lucky or not by the fact that Isaac will smile if it reduced cooldown.

Dtilt: Whacks downwards with Mom’s Shovel.

Dash attack: Charges forward riding A Pony.

Fsmash: Throws Mom’s Knife which will travel a short distance before disappearing.

Usmash: Swings The Candle above his head.

Dsmash: Throws down a red candle which will produce flames for a while.

Nair: Shoots out tears.

Fair: Cuts opponents in front of him with Scissors.

Bair: Looks backwards and opens a Jar of Flies which will have a fly come out of it, acting as a projectile before it disappears.

Uair: Samson’s Chains appear on Isaac’s ankle and he kicks upwards to attack with them.

Dair: Uses a Lead Pencil to poke enemies and spike them.

B: Holds his hand up and pulls up something similar to Shulk’s new Monado Arts. It gives him 6 item options, and he can choose one by moving the analog stick over to the item and letting go of B. The item then appears in his hands for a second while he smiles, then gives him its effects. Pressing B will remove the item (with the exception being the Yum Heart). For Kirby’s copy ability, he will instead shoot out tears.. The items are:
Chocolate Milk: Replaces tears with a strong chocolate milk attack that is slower than tears.
Anarchist Cookbook: Replaces next bomb with a powerful troll bomb instead. 20 second cooldown after using.
Telepathy for Dummies: Tears are weaker but home in on opponents. 10 second cooldown after using.
The Nail: Replaces The Bible with a nail that turns Isaac into a demon instead of an angel, poisons enemies that get in the way, and goes slightly less distance than The Bible. 10 second cooldown after using.
Yum Heart: Heals 8%. 20 second cooldown after using.
Glass Cannon: Adds 50% to your current percentage. Replaces tears with large spectral tears that deal lots of damage. 30% healed after use. 30 second cooldown after using.

Side B: Drops down a bomb that will detonate after a while. It can be pushed by moving into it or shooting tears at it.

Up B: Pulls out The Bible, gains wings, and flies upwards before losing the wings and going into special fall.

Down B: Pulls out his D6, and counters an attack. It has a chance of dealing double the damage to an opponent, half of the damage, or healing Isaac instead, dealing only knockback to the opponent.

Final Smash: Isaac slams down the End Chest. If anyone is hit while he slams it down, they enter a cutscene where Isaac opens it, his mother’s arm appears out of it while yelling “Isaac!”, and pulls the enemy down into the chest. Rarely, It Lives will instead drop down from the ceiling before Isaac opens it and fire multiple red projectiles at the enemy.

Taunts:
Looks forward and gives a thumbs up while smiling.
Looks forward and happily holds up pixel art of a random boss (similarly to pac-man’s taunt).
Wipes his eyes.

Victory animations:
Opens up the End Chest before looking at the camera surprised, apparently scared of whatever was inside.
Isaac lays down on his stomach while happily drawing a picture with crayons.
A trap door appears, Isaac jumps out of it, and gives a thumbs up while smiling.

Thought that occurred to me: if Isaac made it in, could Meat Boy and Gish get appearances on his Spirit Board depicting their original selves (how they appear in their own games and not in TBoI)?
