platform wavelands, thunders, ledge drop bairs (or w/e), ledge stalls (firefox stall or w/e), ways to get on the ledge fast (shine turnaround wd, run off phantasm, shine turnaround firefox, not all pick w/e you wanna do), you could also so some shine bairs (they can sometimes catch people off guard), shine nairs, overall movement

shine grabs are hot, multishines if you feel like it (not really that necessary)

drilling behind marth, shining, wd backwards, turnaround running upsmash/grab

it's sooo useful and technical, because the situation of marth DIing behind you (or you overshooting your dair) happens all the time in tournament or in other matches

knowing how to react to it and still punish in an efficient and sexy way is hot as fucck

Yes, its extremely important. By wavedashing backwards, you can easily avoid powerful attacks, like Marth's forward smash. It also will come in handy when you have to waveshine backwards.

Well, I meant out of shine. just Wavedashing backwards is easy.

I need to work on WDing OOS. I don't like using both L&R :(

If you are turning around in your shine when you wavedash back, it means you are holding the stick back for too long. Practice letting go faster.

If you have another controller. Practice di-ing different attacks with one controller while you have the other character attack. Or you can purposefully plug the other controller into the socket with the joystick held up, so that whichever character is in that slot crouch cancels everything you do. You can test out the knockback of different attacks in that situation, too.

Why not use both L&R such a waste of a button using 1, you could go through moves quicker :dizzy:
