With the recent drought of character/epic updates, many of the Smashboarders have turned on each other or fallen into deep resentment. Many have begun to accept the fact that Sakurai has to prolong these updates until February 10, 2008. I started this thread to revive fresh, accepted ideas that will make you happy!

1. Don't think of February 10 as being in February, think of it as the end of January, so you only have 1 month to go. Whenever you add "February", your mind reacts, thinking you have an entire new month to wait.

2. According to SamuraiPanda and CoroCoro Magazine, either the starting roster or full roster will be revealed on December 15. No matter which it is, the full roster will be revealed sometime between January 1 and February 10. Of course the Japanese will get the game on Jan. 24, but you KNOW someone will get the game by accident/it'll leak.

I remember Sakurai saying before thsat only the starting roster would be revealed until January 24, not counting Sonic and Snake. Well, I think any screenshots are good.

I'm gonna bring all of you down: don't think of Brawl's release date as Feb. 10th, because none of us will be able to get the game that day. Think of Brawl's release date as Feb. 12th, because as we all saw with Galaxy stores won't put it out until Tuesday or even Wednesday. Granted, I'm sure some stores will have it early...Monday at best.

Full roaster reveiled on december 15th?....uhh..why? I think it's impossible to not be spoiled of the game. Now they are saying the full roaster is going to be on the dojo website.

dammit where the hell is the warning for the dojo site. It seriously needs to say "warning: contains spoiler content". Of course i could not check it, but how am I suppose to know it was going to spoil me of the entire game when I entered.

No, I don't want to know the whole SSE story line and all the characters before I even touch the game. That's what it interesting and worth playing for.

I STILL haven't gotten Galaxy... and I pre-ordered it to be mailed to me. Huh.

Anyway, I agree with the optimism. From what SamuraiPanda said, we're getting the starting/complete roster next month! That's something to look forward to.

I hate the delay as much as anyone, but I cling to the following things.

The starting roster is larger than Melee in its entirety, plus unlockables.
It's online, meaning mock-gambling, spectator, long-distance matches, and random matches at any hour of the day.
Every flaw from Melee has a chance at being remedied, ranging from CPU AI to glitches and modes that were needed.

Then again, I was saying all that BEFORE the delay...With two more months slapped on, I expect something substantial added on such more characters, a mode or feature that will blow my mind, or at least a fleshed out online mode.

Well, how about this...THE GAME WON'T COME OUT DURING FINALS!

I'll wait for it in the U.K. thanks, though i may want the game soo badly... it ain't worth the hassle getting it early and for the wrong format (U.S. don't work on U.K consoles). I'll wait for the good stuff to come in then bag it.

Ummm, the whole site IS a spoiler. If you don't want to know information, stop going to it and the boards. Otherwise, you WILL know everything there will be to know about the game before you play it.

King Dedede will be unlockable, so that is technically wrong. but it seems like (judging by the lack of character updates) Dedede might be the only exception to this.
