That's what I thought, which is why I've been trying to find alternative ways to get to places that are independent.Hold on about me giving out rides. My father and I haven't been doing well and he still dissaproves me going to tourneys so just hold out on that statement.
I haven't played brawl since the smashfest, so I believe I suck now......Thursday everyone is going to Dan's place right?
You guys are soooo lucky you do not have school.........
That is some random *** time to end o.OUhhh...........3:07
Your coming over?He meant today :o.
I'll have to think about this pretty hard. Originally, I planned on inviting you AND your brother to the crew much sooner. iKon can be a fun enough person if you put his blaring foolishness aside, but it's his stupidly unfounded arrogance which is why I really detest the idea of letting him in the crew. Can my brother be like I honerary member or something because recently I fell like I've been disrespecting his effort in brawl. He play and tries just as hard as me, and is just as good, and never gets to play and attend events simply because he is currently not in any crew.
So I ask if he can be a honarary member or something, so that he can play much more with the community and not put his efforts to waste. And we increase the chances of bringing the TV over
But seriously please consider allowing him to play with us every now and then, I feel he has a lot of potential considering how young he is and how much effort he puts into the game/i make him good.
Which is why I shouldn't be allowed to go to any of ZB's future crew meets after I was so rude in asking you for your address ._..I'll have to think about this pretty hard. All crew meets are at my house, and it's not like we have infinite space. Furthermore, during crew meets, the crew is supposed to practice and improve, which means dedicating resources to outsiders is not really an appealing concept. It's true that every once in a while we make an exception to this rule. Once we had Blackwaltz, once Ninjalink and Yes!, once Kimchi. There are days that I play that are NOT crew meets. On these days, anyone is welcome. During crew meets, the entire crew is expected to attend, which includes the NY Branch of our crew (<3 Ryko and R00kie). I don't like increasing the number of people here past that, because it means more people are waiting to play, and it takes away from the time we get to practice, and NY players spent their money to come here and practice with their crew.
If iKon wasn't so blindingly arrogant, on top of pretty ignorant about some things, he'd already be in the crew. That being said, with our current financial and van-less status, I really don't think more additions to the crew are advisable.
You should know, the reasons I don't hold general Smashfests as often as I used to, is because stuff goes missing. When Brawl first came out, I invited a few trash talkers over to my house, and few of my friends to come over. Somehow, this became known as a public event, and in my small living room we held a 34 man tournament. My dad was cool with this, and my mom just goes along with what my dad says. However, my father's personal Wii Remote was stolen, and we both realized that it was our own fault for being so foolishly trusting. It's a shame, because my dad bought Pizza and Soda for everyone too out of his own pocket. Also, I'm not even sure exactly when, but after one smashfest, my primary memory card for the gamecube went missing. I don't know why anyone would steal a gamecube memory card, they aren't expensive. However, I had the save data on that for my Paper Mario, where I was over level 50 (I was pretty hooked on that game). I also had my PSO data with over 600 hours of gameplay. I was getting over the Wii Remote, and I'm normally a really friendly guy, and like to give people chances, but now I can't even play PSO anymore, and the data for thousands of hours of my life was stolen. Because of this, I have less smashfests, and therefore there are less opportunities for people outside of the crew. This might not be iKon's fault, but this is what happens when people steal from those who are generous.
My father trusts the crew, because they are here frequently, and they are like family to me now. With the exception of you, we've all travel to a different state together and spent the weekend away, enjoying an unforgettable event with each other (no homo). We are very tight knit. The entire 'honorary member' thing seems kind of silly to me. I consider BlackWaltz, Doom, Inui, Atomsk, Yes!, DmBrandon, Teh_Spamerer and Eazy all very good friends, and would jump to their aid in a heartbeat if they needed something outside of the game that I could help them with. However, I don't make them honorary members of the crew. To achieve that status, you'd need to be close with the entire crew. Honorary member of the crew can't just be "Friends with one person in the crew" or we'd have a lot of honorary members. If you are friends with the entire crew on a personal level, you'll probably be accepted into the crew. Honorary members is kinda silly. The only exception would be if someone was in another crew, but we as a crew felt so attached to this person, we decided to make them an honorary member of our crew. So far, that's been a completely unnecessary title, and I don't see a reason to invent it.
If iKon is seriously interested in getting better, I'll start calling him and asking him if he wants to practice. But no, he's not going to start getting invited to crew meets. He missed his chance by shooting off so much at the mouth, and acting like an arrogant fool when he's really not that good. The crew decides as a group whether or not to let someone in. If even a single person in the crew disagreed with letting someone else in, we wouldn't let them in, as it would cause an issue within the crew, which we try very hard to avoid. Me and R00kie have halfway had one argument ONCE, and R00kie is still close to me like a brother, as is Ryko, and Brian. R00kie and I talk about just about everything on a personal basis, and I expect to keep in touch with him for the rest of my life (hopefully, the same will be true for the rest of you, but speaking of merely past communications, R00kie meets this the best, not counting Munk and Umbra). Brain has shown the crew unforgettable and overwhelming generousity, and also helped me out in a time of need when my older sister was ill by offering her a ride to the hospital. Ryko has never hesitated to lend his assistance on a technical standpoint, and is very useful for always voicing his brilliant opinions in a respectful manner. I've known RJ personally for YEARS, and this is the example of a man who has done something for me. Munk has been my best friend since I was 10. I'll be 18 in March. Umbra is my blood brother, and we share a room. You are still new to the crew and young but there are high expectations for you. I'm not expecting you to be like everyone else. You are younger, and will probably be more like a little brother to me, but you will be allowed to bring your own special aspect into the crew.
I like iKon, but neither I, nor the rest of the crew, seek any such relationship with him at the moment, and therefore he will not be allowed to attend crew meets. This is the same reason Shippo isn't allowed at crew meets or in the crew, despite being a close friend of mine. He simple doesn't choose his words wisely, and annoys people, so many times it is not enjoyable to have him around. Additionally, he still has not expanded his skill to become a competitively viable opponent that you can develop your skill by fighting against. Even when trying to get into a smash crew, having the proper social skills to make people want to associate with you is important, as when trying to join ANY group in life. iKon's arrogance causes this to weigh against him.
Sorry for getting way off-topic with the answer there, but as the newest member of this crew, I felt knowing some of this would benefit you.
Without the address, you wouldn't have been involved in anything. Don't be so pessimistic and bear down on yourself. Asking a question, unless you're told not to or you already know the information, is something I rarely think you will be admonished or ridiculed for. It isn't a bad thing.Which is why I shouldn't be allowed to go to any of ZB's future crew meets after I was so rude in asking you for your address ._..
Get *****, lol.iKon can be a fun enough person if you put his blaring foolishness aside, but it's his stupidly unfounded arrogance which is why I really detest the idea of letting him in the crew.

Uh, if it were up to me, and they showed themselves truly interested, and started actively playing and striving to improve, they'd get my stamp, but they need to prove themselves to the entire crew.So Pierce based on my performance today what do i do better, worse, what horrible ideas have i stuck myself too, etc. Also If 4fit and Wind reapplied themselves to Brawl do you think they would be crew worthy once again?
1. LOL at the truthThis is the same reason Shippo isn't allowed at crew meets or in the crew, despite being a close friend of mine.
