Is this the first word with numbers in it?

And why are people so upset about it? I think it's awesome that this word won the contest or whatever.

Seconded...I think it's great that they're introducing less formal words that are at least understandable...I'd rather see w00t than some word we can barely pronounce and/or will never use...I don't see why everyone's *****ing about it...

I have to agree with John (the guy in the video). "W00t" is a fine word, but it's done. I can't say I can think of a specific word that would be better suited for the position, but "w00t" just doesn't feel right.

Not that it really matters. It's not like I'm gonna stop using all those other words I know.

I think it's ironic that we, a part of the online community that lead to the popularity of the "word" w00t, are complaining about this. Sometimes I think we're too smart for our own good.

I dislike people actually saying words like lol or woot in real life, it's so redundant. If you're actually lol'ing, why are you saying lol instead of laughing? It doesn't make sense.

I don't really care that much but I think they could have picked a better word.
