it looks like you just went right over what i posted.

I didn't I clearly said once the opponent learns the cooldown it's easy to punish. Probly cause I'm a wolf main but if I get spammed Usmash on my shield I find it easy to counter. All MK has to do is Dsmash. All Snake has to do is Ftilt. Fox can dash Usmash. Wolf can ftilt it. That's why I just see Usmash used as a punish or Dacus. I feel an empty Usmash usually get's me punished to easily

Metaknight is too fast on the ground to have a problem punishing an Usmash that he shielded.

I get Dsmash'd or dash grabbed when that happens. Mostly dash grabbed.

im 100% sure fox can't dash usmash after a blocked usmash from wolf,same thing for mk's dash grab. anyways yeah usmash sucks dont use it

Usmash is good. When people SDI out it's not a guaranteed aerial though, I hope the smash lab's frame data does a good job of clearing all of that up...

when they block usmash, do they block the 1st and 2nd hit of the usmash? or just the first hit?

sure it's not guaranteed, but it essentially is. they can airdodge it if they airdodge immediately... but nobody does that because it's bad to just airdodge immediately

if the second hit misses it obviously punishable, also if they block the first and spotdodge the second it's punishable as well. however some characters can't punish it at all and the characters that can have a very small time frame to do it and can only do it if the player has VERY good reaction times.

I already told you that Usmash is super-safe and everybody was like "nah". I've seen JJ Usmashing a DDD on the ground and he was not able to shield grab him wtf. Ninjalink would Usmash -> Dsmash people sometimes because it ****ing works and Camaman baited the **** out of people by whiffing usmashes.

Wolf's best ground move imo.

Usmash shine >>> Usmash dsmash.

And the shieldgrabbing depends on what point in the animation at which you try to grab Wolf. Same thing against Wolf's dash attack. Most grab ranges are pretty low, and since these attacks lift up Wolf's hurtbox, the grabs can whiff during certain times. I thought this was old news @_@

The difference is, that after the Dash Attack animation you're still in lag. I'm pretty sure it doesn't apply to Usmash.

Vs Omni: Man... work on your shine gimps. You can pull of shine > dj shine fairly easily, go with that to guarantee a kill and give yourself a better angle for recovering to the ledge. Also, dacus to go under SH approaches is like having Lucario's roll lol. So good for avoiding getting cornered and even beating out attacks from underneath sometimes :3 Good dthrow followups and defensive reactions to dair and all that

Vs Chu: If you get grabbed or hit by an utilt at low %s, you gotta get that SDI going. Also, offstage... don't get dair'd X_x recover high if you have to, you can wait it out and recover reactively as well but just don't get dair'd. Nice spike through Halberd though lol. Very good use of shine in the air as well.

Thanks for critique. I know how to SDI, I just let it happen to make sure I couldn't get combo'd further.

I don't do as good without the JJ tag on. Every other tag isn't lucky. Pane's tag is good for Ness though.
