Here is a list of characters that are possible to become bosses for the upcoming adventure mode. Maybe some of these suggestions will put our minds at ease. Perhaps each franchise will have their own possible list.

Kirby - Dark Matter, Whispy Woods, Kracko, O2, Marx
Metroid - Kraid, Crocomire, Dark Samus, Mother Brain, Omega Metroid
Starfox - Andross, General Scales (To get Krystal?), Wolf
Earthbound - Mad Carpenter (To get Paula?), Starmen, Giygas
Ice Climber - Vulture
Pokemon - Team Rocket, Giovanni, any legendary pokemon
Fire Emblem - Black Knight, Petrine, Ashnard

Mr. Game and Watch - Octopus
Metal Gear Solid - Metal Gear, Ocelot, Mantis, Liquid, Raven
Animal Crossing - ???? (Tom Nook? He can cause you to go into debt?)

Having them fight Giygas would be AWESOME... but it'd be hard to do, since he really doesn't have much of a physical form, he's more of the manifestation of Pure Evil that is so far gone from any form someone could comprehend. I mean, does THIS look like something that could be fought? I mean, even in Earthbound, it is only destroyed when Paula prays hard enough that YOU, the GAMER, destroy it in the most awesome use of the 4th wall in Video Game history.

And since the chances Paula are in are low, I don't think any Smash Fighter ever could stand a chance against him. And besides, I highly doubt you could think of a way to put something like this into a 3D fighting game.



I'd like to suggest:

Pokemon: A mad-*** Gyrados would be cool, as would just about any Legendary.

Giovanni and Team Rocket were the only true villains in the pokemon games (unless you want to count Team Galactic and those ruby/sapphire teams or whatever., but I hate them. They're all the same basic concept anyway).

No pokemon, in the videogames, are evil. Mewtwo was defaulted as the villain back before PT was confirmed, but now that a human from the pokemon universe is confirmed, Giovanni and his team seem like a perfect choice to me.

Zelda: Zant? I don't know, I just couldn't think of anything.

For a Pokemon boss, I think Palkia, Dialga, Darkrai or Giratina will work well if they want to have D/P representation.

I would have suggested Syrup, but this is Wario Ware Wario. I don't think she'll be making a comeback soon. There aren't really any villains in his games. Maybe for obscure franchises like Wario Ware and Animal Crossing, they won't have a specific boss, but a special form of the Primid, like a Large Fat Sumo Primid, or a Flying Swordsman Primid, or something obscure like that. Kinda like Kingdom Hearts (Puke.)

I very much doubt Dark Samus would be a boss, well he could be a boss but he would have to be playable to, i mean it would be a blasphemy to make he a boss only. And Sa-X is just a clone of Samus.

for link or zelda I see Gohma as a boss couse he has appeared in almost all of the zelda, for those who dont remember him, he was the first boss in OoT inside the Great Deku Tree, the scorpion-centipide beast in the Wind Waker and the Armogohma from twilight princess, the tarantula looking monster with a big eye in its back.

Hopefully the Kirby/Metroid lists can show us that its still hopeful to see Dedede and Ridley as playable characters.

Crazy Redd would be a better AC villian if there was one. He'd constantly pelt the player with stolen/pirated/counterfeit furniture making it very difficult to approach.

MOTHER boss would be either:

Heavily Armoured Pokey

Or Pokey leading the pig army as per MOTHER 3.
If Giygas was a boss, he'd manifest himself as a dark version of whoever he's fighting. He can do that.

Ashley, Doctor Crygor, and even 9/18 Volt.
Wario Ware is probably the hardest game to find a villian for though...

What I want to know is, will the storyline for Subspace Emissaries actually specifically refer to the character you're playing as? I hope so, I don't want there to be generic statements. If I choose Mario, upon reaching Petey Pirana Peach should say something like "Mario? Mario! Help me!" Instead of "Help".

I hope you can pick every character, I mean you should be able to. Like if I pick Peach, maybe they could put Mario in the second cage or something! lol

Also will there be voice acting for this, or just text? I liked the voice acting in Sunshine a lot, they should make characters say full sentences.
