The My Hero Academia finale was pretty good.

Whole season was some of the best the show has been.

I really liked seeing Stain return though. He was always a pretty interesting character in the show and it’s cool he played a pretty important role in the finale.

I posted a bunch of ideas for newcomers in Street Fighter 6 on Reddit but nobody bit or responded like... at all. The all ignored me. So I'm posting it here so maybe people will actually read it.
  • A water elemental. We have so many people that use so many of the classical elements that this one being absent stands out to me. Yes, we have ice users but water users and ice users tend to do different things. Plus you could pair that with certain martial arts that involve lots of flowing movements like the water-bending in Avatar.
  • On a similar note, a new member of Gill's organization with a similar half-and-half power set to him and his brother Urien. Gill has fire and ice, Urien has Electricity and Metal, new person has Earth and Air. Someone with wind powers and geokinesis at the same time would make for a really interesting toolkit imo, and it could add a little more dimension to the Illuminati, which currently is lacking in the expanded list of members that makes Shadaloo so interesting.
  • Another superpower I think they could make an interesting moveset out of, Super Speed. If i'm wrong correct me but I think NRS is the only studio that has made fighting game characters with Super Speed (Kabal and The Flash) so I'd love to see how Capcom and the Street Fighter team handle the idea.
  • A variety of characters from a couple of different countries and cultures in Africa and South America. Street Fighter will always be about WORLD WARRIORS to me and these regions are woefully under-represented and under-explored. Just have your designers read some books, visit the areas, learn about the people there and their cultures and their folklore and get some ideas. I guarantee you'll come up with stuff we've never seen before.
  • A Pirate. I just think the aesthetics could be used for a unique play-style in this game. I'm not saying I need them to have swords and guns and all that, that wouldn't really work in Street Fighter. But the aesthetic would be fun to play with.
  • Bring back Karate Clown you cowards.
  • An alien. But not like our modern ideas of aliens. I'm talking a 50's b-movie/classic Star Trek and Doctor Who looking alien with a little bit of old Tokosatsu/Sentai elements thrown in there to really make it fit in there. Obviously they fight hand to hand. You could even maybe tie it into Street Fighter 2010's lore by having it be one of the species from those games.
  • Building off that, a straight up Tokusatsu/Sentai character. Like, in universe they are an actor on that kind of show and we fight as their TV persona. Maybe make it Red Warrior Bokori Man (as mentioned a couple of times in the series). I think that would be really fun.
  • I want to fight as an animal. That gorilla from Ed's story mode (who may or may not have Psycho Power) would be a fun way to fulfill this desire. But there are other ways to make it work without the animal being anthropomorphized. Another funny idea would be like.. and Ostrich or an Emu. They're the right height and those birds are VICIOUS.
  • I've talked about wanting Haggar before. And I think he can have a playstyle that's different enough from Zangief to have him stand out. I just think it's time. Maybe now that he's out of office he's decided to get back into the ring?
  • On a similar note, we've had lots of Final Fight characters over the years, but never the main big bad of any of the games. So I want Belger from Final Fight 1 and Black from Final Fight 3. Belger doesn't actually need the wheelchair, he just uses it. He gets up out of it all the time and fights on his legs. And Black would just be a bigger and scarier Rolento. Maybe he could even stage a hostile takeover of Rolento's army as part of the story. I know both of them are supposed to be dead per the literal text of the story in those games, but eh. Fudge it, or come up with some sort of excuse. Story shouldn't get in the way of fun characters.
  • On an even more similar note. Now that Akira has kicked down the door, I want more Rival Schools characters. Obviously Batsu Ichimonji is a first pick. And I want Akira to come back. But I also want to see Kyosuke Kagami and the bad guy Hyo Imawano.
  • Someone from Saturday Night Slam Masters. It's a part of the Street Fighter Shared Universe but it's only connected through Haggar who himself hasn't even appeared as a player character in the games yet. I think Black Widow would be a fun choice, since we really only need one Slam Masters character and she's the most unique. But there are a few choices that would make sense from that lineup.
  • Did you know they were originally going to do Momotaru from the Capcom arcade game Pirate Ship Higemaru as a character in V but they scrapped him in favor of Birdie? Yeah, I want Momotaru now. He's not a pirate, but incorporating him and his cast of friends might just give me an appropriate pirate character to fulfill the wish from earlier.
  • I want them to bring back Bad Box Art Mega Man and canonize him. Yes. I want it to be that he is the Street Fighter Universe's equivalent of the Blue Bomber and they bring him back with his playstyle from SFxT. In the context of where the franchise was back then, it hurt, yeah. But in the context of now, it's funny as hell and I want to see them do it again.
  • SonSon. It's Capcom's version of Son Wukong. AKA Journey to the West. The thing that inspired DragonBall! If that's not a semi-obscure but cool as hell Capcom character that deserves resurrection I don't know what is. You could use the original SonSon or his granddaughter SonSon III from MvC2. Both would work.
  • I want to see them expand the Street Fighter shared universe in some way I haven't thought of. There have to be other Capcom game franchises that would make sense to be a part of it that wouldn't completely shatter the Street Fighter continuity. I'm not talking Darkstalkers or DMC or Resident Evil. It needs to be something set in a version of the real world where the supernatural element is kind of toned back and hidden from the mass public, and ideally has something to do with fighting. Either as a fighting game or a beat em up. I'm sure there's something. And whatever it is I want to see them work with it.

Planet Robobot is one of the best Kirby games, definitely worth playing. Bravely default is really popular although I haven’t played it.
If you don’t have the original elsewhere, country returns is good.

Dragon quest has a few games on there and if you haven’t played bowsers inside story, the remake is still solid with a nice graphical update.

Samus returns, a link between worlds and uprising are probably my favorite action games I e played. Plus Shovel knight is classic.

outside of Mario I don’t think I’ve played any platformers though.

Considering some of the stuff you can find in Gen 3 romhacks like Pokemon Crown replacing the battle system entirely with one based on Auto Chess, I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner.

I was playing Abe’s Odysee and my game crashed. I tried to reload my save, which only lost me like 20 minutes of progress, but then i somehow did every wrong combination of buttons and overwrote that save with the one at the load screen at the very beginning. My last “memory card” save was in Scrabania, which was, for me, about 2 hours behind where I am now.

This is worse than a sibling erasing your file. This is the biggest L you could possibly take in this situation. I am now too embarrassed to even pick it up again.
