I wonder if they’ll announce anything this time. Surely they want to save any big game reveals for the Switch 2 direct, but if there’s one thing they could talk about here, it may be the second movie.

Could we get a cast announcement video for some new characters?

New characters news is possible and would be great plus it'll mean more memes to look forward to.

Beat Sly Cooper 1, a fun little game that's antiquated for sure but still has a load of fun. Now to give Sonic Unleashed a PC test drive as my only experience with the HD version is at a friend's place who actually has it on Xbox.

So this is what I've missed out on all these years. That blue rat goes... So fast... This music is brilliant and the game is so gorgeous... This blows my ps2 experience with the game out of the water

Day 2: Kirby and the Forgotten Land


From what I saw, Kirby Star Allies was a fairly divisive entry with some fans starting to grow weary of Kirby's formula and constant celebration of itself, so what did HAL do? They brought the super tough pink puff to 3D and made it incredibly fresh by having mostly unique enemies, songs and mini games! The 3D style gameplay reminded me more of Mario 3D World with it's linear level design and a lack of general camera controls due to not needing it much, but the game stuck the landing, being perhaps the most pleasant and fun way to handle some post apocalyptic setting. Here's hoping HAL's cooking up another game like this instead of just remasters!

Expecting Wario and Waluigi and thinking they might free Bowser.

Rosalina and a movie based on Mario Galaxy feels like something they'd save for the third film.

They're putting Luigi's Mansion 1 on the Switch, since 2 and 3 are already on there. It'll be based on the 3DS version. It'll probably sell like 3 million copies somehow.

Honestly I’m more excited about the fact that it’s apparently very easy to recompile other Xbox 360 games using the same process. Gonna start making native pc ports of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien and Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion.

Yeah, lots of people are digging the fact that the X-Box 360 emulation/PC scene is gonna get a lot of improvements. Mortal Kombat 9 and some of the Spider-Man games like Edge of Time and Shattered Dimensions are the ones I'm interested in. Maybe MUA2.

Just goes to show that for the trash talking people do with Sonic fans, they're a dedicated bunch when it comes to this kind of stuff. And it's always for the better when it helps a wide audience of players.
