The only thing that can kill a Nintendo franchise is Nintendo themselves. Jjst recommend the game without some agenda to push for a war between similar games. How hard is, "if you like game x, then you'd lkke game y"?

We've had people dub new turn-based Pocket Monster games "Pokemon killers", new action-adventure games with open worlds "The Legend of Zelda killers", new racing games based on existing franchises "Mario Kart killers", andnew crossover Platform Fighter games "Super Smash Bros. killers", including ones that turned out to be hoaxes like the supposed Disney one.

At this point, it's just a trend and it always turns out wrong at best, if not playing a hand in the new game(s)' downfall at worst for setting up unrealistic expectations or failing to live up to the hype.

I'm obsessed with cataloguing any and all animated series produced by CBS/Paramount/Viacom pre-nickelodeon. Because in my mind, if we're gonna retroactively call the 87 TMNT show and Garfield and Friends Nicktoons just because Nickelodeon owns the brands now (like Nick Brawl seems to), then those shows should count too. So far I've found Star Trek: The Animated Series, Terrytoons and it's handfull of television revivals, an animated series based on The Brady Bunch, a couple shows based on Happy Days and it's spin-offs (Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy), and something called The Oddball Couple. It's taken me a while to narrow it down because I basically have to click on every link to every page about every show developed by Paramount Global Television over the years and see which ones were animated because the list on wikipedia doesn't just include that information.

Yeah pretty much how I feel

its a fad game with a quickly forming community that is insufferable

Side note, I feel like Pokemon Conquest came out at the wrong time. Like it came out late in the DS's life span (like the 3DS was out)... and it came one month before Fire Emblem Awakening and a year before X&Y.

Like imagine a FE Pokemon on the 3DS after Gen 6 or 7, it would have sold insane given the resurgence of FE and tactical RPGs. We would've seen a sequel by now.

Or not and instead they Pokken it where they had a great idea so they one and done'd it.
