My main takeaway from these last few chapters is that if you still think Makima is best girl after reading them, I am getting a restraining order

Like yeah she has a nice ass but every single woman in the series is better than her by virtue of not being a murderous grooming sociopath

I just beat Bayonetta 3. The game was great, pretty much what I was expecting... Up until the end of chapter 13 and most of chapter 14, where it took a sudden sharp downturn.

I could go on a rant, but to sum it up, it's like most of the game was written by the same team as the rest of the franchise, only for the last chapter or so to be written by one person who was really pushing for a tragic and romantic ending with Luka as their self-insert OC.

Also, a ton of major plot details are only explained in post-game character bios - I believe that was the case to some degree in previous Bayonetta games, but it's especially bad here. (We don't even learn why or how the villain is doing what they're doing in the game itself)

On another note, the game totally wasted Jeanne, between shoving her into a side mission that turned out to be completely pointless, killing her off abruptly, permanently, and with little to no fanfare, and giving her no alternate outfits despite her having at least four to work with in this game alone.

Finally got around to playing more Okami this week. Made it up to the point where you get to Issun's home village. And I bought 8th Wonder. This is probably the closest I've been to worrying about the in-game cash in a long time cause I got like 3 new weapons and learned everything in the 3rd Dojo. But that damaging enemies with your dodge was super useful.

Did a lot of the side quest that I can think of, but I feel like I'm missing out on some of the secondary powers, cause I definitely got them for Fire, Wind, Bomb and Mist. So I probably gotta find water and lightning's soon, and eventually get Ice's main move, but I'm almost certain that's in Kamui.

as much as it’s cool to let Luka hook up with Cereza, they should’ve had tons of screentime and development together. Compared to the 1st world’s chemistry between them, 3 just has us assume they’ve been close forever. Unless she managed to remember him for 500+ years until he was an adult or something. Their love could’ve been perfectly handled with less teases and more blunt onscreen character buildup (and also even less teases from Viola…like damn girl just say the **** from the beginning and not right after your different universal parents get dragged down to Hell)

also yeah Jeanne got disrespected to all hell after all the MGS type work she had to go through. Even worse when you have to think about how all those other Jeanne variants died as well (especially 2’s version who already had to be dragged to hell by the ass known as bad luck). Too bad she’ll likely never get as much attention as her 1 counterpart will (since they’re all dead as ****).

Hopefully Viola can improve her skills and learn to witch time with a dodge over a painful parry…and that Bayonetta 6 or Smash allows us to have the Bayonetta: No Way Home we deserved (still wish we could’ve played as Bayo 2)…also I wish they kept the Nintendo costumes and Chain Chomp. He was the best weapon to ever have.

What's wrong with being more of a dog person?

Not saying all people are bad (Implying my family as well which isn't the case), it's just some people like me being animal lovers we are, are closer to dogs then we are to people).

Dude you went from saying that you chose the bachelor life to immediately going straight to 1960s sexism and then saying dogs are better. Do you not see the issue here?

Yes...I do now. Sorry...I don't know what suddenly went over me on there.

I just think by being single, you're more free to do what you like. More fun in general.

And I went a little overboard there saying dogs were better, I'm just more of dog person then a people person. I value both equally.

For some reason I specifically get boomer comic vibes. Like, the 'I hate my wife. "Father I cannot click the book"' kind. I wonder if this is even an actual person considering how often this conversation seems to be needed

I'm just gonna say this.

You have been saying a lot of sus **** for several years. We've been kinda giving you a pass but do note that one day we will be fed up and it'll be game over. Actually think about what you say before posting, you're in your 30s so you chould have a very good idea on what to say and what not to say. This will be my last say on this topic.
