Having beaten it 10+ times, I still don't have any levels that I dislike, and the special stages are really fun once you figure out the optimal ways of completing them. Plus the soundtrack is ****ing fire, based Tee Lopes.

It's just the most consistently great Sonic game IMO.

This is my exact take on the game: It's just really dang fun. It's easily the peak of 2D Sonic. It's 100% joining both Adventure games and Generations as a Sonic game I'll constantly return to for mods and just the game itself.

Assuming Thanos even knew about Eternity. Why did he not just go to him rather than seek out the stones? Arguably would have been a lot easier and less time-consuming.

Thanos presumably didn't know about Eternity (assuming that he did is already a really big assumption on its own), and he didn't have a way to get to Eternity even if he knew about him.

Plus, even if he did know about Eternity, Eternity's sentient, so he could turn the wish back on him (wiping out Thanos, his forces, and as many people as possible that would be considered evil), or possibly even refuse to grant it. (since Thanos would basically be saying "destroy half of yourself")

It's hard to say, since Eternity doesn't say anything in the movie, but the gods make up a relatively small amount of the population of the universe, so that wouldn't be as much of an issue by comparison.

Either way, it's a moot point; as far as we know, Thanos had no idea that Eternity existed.

Gorr didn’t wish to kill every god, and we never o saw what would happen if he did make that wish. All we know Eternity could have killed them right there.
