Will probably watch it later tonight once I subscribe to HiDive, but the Urusei Yatsura reboot/remaster is looking really clean. I have been seeing nothing but positive reactions from the fandom. Looks like they're not remixing the original OP & Ending themes but the new songs seem solid or at least help capture the manic energy of the series.

The OP is especially amazing as it's full of nothing but deep cut references to the past 44 years of series and new animations showing the characters discovering modern technology. They even sneaked in a Doki Doki Literature Club joke. Ataru & Lum discovering Tinder is a visual gag that I didn't know I wanted.

Am so glad this is looking like it's living up to the hype as a lot of recent Anime have let me down.

These next few weeks are going to be busy for me. In addition to work, which is picking up (I'll be working seven days a week next week, and possibly in the weeks beyond that), there's Halloween Ends coming out tomorrow (don't know if I'll see that in theaters; I'll wait to see what people think), the Black Adam movie and Persona 5 Royal next week, Bayonetta 3 the week after that, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever shortly afterwards.

The red carpet reactions have spoiled me on at least one cameo for Black Adam, but I'm still looking forward to seeing it. For Halloween Ends, I'm going to wait and see; I liked Halloween 2018 but disliked Halloween Kills. (now where's Halloween Kills Again In Space?)

I've played Persona 5 before, but I haven't played the Royal version, so I'm interested to see what changes are made. I'll try to focus on the social stats more, because I didn't realize that confidant ranks could only be progressed beyond a certain point if your social stats are high enough, so I was locked out of the confidants of several party members (like Makoto or Haru) as a result.

These are kinda bad. They tried To inspire stuff from the show but really scaled down the looks and designs imo.

If we got something nowadays, I would love models on par with these types of diorama:

Each having about 800 pieces and recreating iconic scenes. Like imagine one of these with like the creeper and the barn or bank setting from that episode. Lots of potential, that I’m surprised they have not gone back to.
