Tbh I think the idea of a more punk-y look works real well for a Peach rival, mirrors her more traditional attire and matches Bowser, imagining a punk aesthetic Peach being head over heels for Bowser who is just not that interested is a funny mental image too

That model is a little too high quality for an N64 game. Unless the story we've been told is inaccurate and she was created for a game other than Tennis 64.
Also, like a lot of other people have said, it looks too clean and cute for a Warui character.
The fan wars this would have caused. Although maybe this would have just turned Boshi into a Booster situation.

The timing on blocking those bombs is way too strict to justify them being one-hit kills, imo. From what I gathered, the only way to get a perfect action command block is to hit the button the very instant you see one moving.Okay how tf am I supposed to beat Leveled-Up Punchinello?

And perfect action commands with regular attacks seem to be the only things that turn the bombs around.

If you get a perfectly timed hit (the type that causes splash damage), then the bomb will turn around. I'm not sure if specials do the trick as well or if it's just regular attacks. Otherwise, it's largely about getting the timing down for blocking to make it so the bombs that don't get turned around don't damage you and outlasting Punchinello. I had to look that one up when I first played it - it turns out that if anyone damages Booster as he's working on his train, it breaks his concentration so he can't use it. These boss rematches get considerably less puzzle-y soon - the one after Booster is kind of a puzzle (though using Mallow's Thought Peek can give you a hint for what to do based on the weakness of the enemies), but after that point, they're relatively straightforward.

If you're looking for specific units, it can be pretty bad because there's no pity system and you're rarely guaranteed rarest units even on multi-rolls.
You don't really need the best characters to advance in the story, though.

Yes he’s on the battle pass. Meaning this is the only time you can get him.

It seems strange that we were given models of Wapeach in GameCube/Wii era quality but none in Mario Tennis 64 quality.
