Funniest thing I've ever heard

DAILY DEMON SHOWCASE

This showcase's demon is of the Haunt race:

1652191866961.png

“I’m Haunt Chattering Skull. Nice to meet you and stuff. Hey, wanna hear a joke?”

Alignment: Dark-Neutral

Origin: Dominican mythology. A human skull that mysteriously started to nod, laugh, and make a terrible chattering sound one night. People were so afraid of the broken wall it inhabited that, even the soldiers wouldn’t dare to cross it. Finally, a young sergeant struck it with his sword to shatter the skull into pieces, causing mice to pour from the shards. It is possible that it was merely moved by the rodents but some say it was actually sentient.

Skills: Sukunda, Dekaja, Severing Bite, Dormina

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Genma race.

Chattering Skull’s legend is actually a bit funny. Considering the whole deal being the titular skull actually being filled with mice and not with an evil spirit or anything. Though, humans’ beliefs can create demons so it’s not much of a surprise that it qualifies as one. Design-wise… it’s a skull. Not much to say but I like the subtle coloring.

Nintendo's financial report is in.
The Switch has reached 107.65 Million, it's likely on course to outsell the PS4 by the end of the year.
Metroid Dread is now officially the best selling Metroid game at 2.9 Million, probably will reach 3 Million before the Switch changes over to the next console.
BDSP are the best selling remakes in the Pokemon franchise at 14.65 Million, probably will land somewhere in 15 Million at least provided SV doesn't lop off its legs.
On the note of Pokemon, PLA sold 11.4 Million in 10 weeks and is currently standing at 12.64 Million, it's on course to surpass HGSS.
Kirby Forgotten Land managed to sell 2.1 Million in 2 weeks, currently standing at 2.65 Million.
Bayonetta 3 is pegged for this year.
Thinking PLA is gonna pass up BDSP by the tike the Switch is done for. Probably won't catch up to SwSh because SwSh had a 2 year +holiday headstart.

There was a problem fetching the tweet
The feeling when this tweet is less controversial than the BDSP sales tweet.
It combined the burning rage of PokeTwitter/PokeReddit with the burning passion of all chibi haters. Game was practically designed to be gamer rage bait.

Also, BDSP was good, people are just mean. :053:

My little sister has gotten into Sonic, thanks to the second movie.

She keeps telling me these obscure bits of Sonic lore she just learned about, stuff I’ve known for years.

It’s hilarious:nifty:

Be a good brother and turn her away before she gets stuck in a cycle of being hurt and inevitable dissappointment.

Jokes aside, my hot take is that Sonic fandom cares about which games children (and other fans, at large) enjoy.

Yes, it can be annoying to see games you think poorly about getting paraded as masterpieces but fandom elitism is even more annoying. Plus, people wouldn't get so defensive about the titles they like in the first place if fans were... you know. More chill about the whole thing.

Not sure what to expect for the indie direct - as much as I'd like to see a release date for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge or some kind of update on Hollow Knight Silksong, I'm expecting that it's going to be announcements for brand new games or games that haven't been on the Switch before, with the possible exception of the "one more thing" at the end. (so I'm guessing no updates on already-announced games aside from maybe one at the end)

Either way, if past indie presentations are any indication, I'm guessing there will be only a handful of games (one to three) that I'm interested in. (I'd be interested to see a trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night 2 or whatever the sequel is called, but that seems unlikely)

But yeah, with BDSP selling exceptional well, I feel that The Pokémon Company is going keep ILCA for future products.

All I ask for next time is that they put some actual effort in the content and features department.

From day one it was overshadowed by Legends, and now gen 9's on the way.

I think the series is in a good place rn. But in hindsight, it's funny how the hype for Sinnoh remakes turned out.
The real Sinnoh remake was the prequel that's not even canon to the version the actual remakes are based on.
