Here is my The Game Awards wishlist

● Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC
● No More Heroes III
● Metroid Prime 4
● Bayonetta 3
● LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
● Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Switch port
● Something to make it worth getting an Xbox Series X

The more in the better.

I thought school would be a lot easier once i went online.

turns out it's really hard to pay attention when you can literally just open a new tab and do something else.
Yeah, productivity is down, gaming is up.

I kinda like online school over in person school though. At least with online I'm more free to do stuff I normally wouldn't or couldn't do while in a school building(also being able to take breaks whenever I want is nice)

Leaked documents from the construction of the spanish language:

Guy 1: We got the AR verbs in the preterite tense all sorted out. e with an accent, aste, o with an accent, amos, aron
Guy 2: Good.
Guy 1: We also got the IR verb endings done. i with an accent, iste, io, imos, ieron
Guy 2: Great to hear!
Guy 1: Problem is, i'm all out of ideas for the ER verbs.
Guy 2: ah just copy the IR verbs nobody will notice

There are too many remakes as of lately.

Remakes can be good (Final Fantasy VII R), but there are just too many.

We need more new and original things. Those tend to hit the hardest.

January 4, 2021 is gonna mark the day that One Piece reaches 1000 chapters.

Damn, it's really been that long huh?
It's not that bad considering how many episodes the anime has. I had to stop watching it because it just dragged the story sooooo much.

I think it's less the amount of episodes and more what they actually do with the time they have. Alot of the recent episodes have just dragged on and on and on with padding scenes and needless exposition/flashbacks and while the animation has improved drastically the pacing is horrendous. This isn't even a new thing, since the timeskip it's been a slowly increasing problem.

Does that really need to be spoilered when it's been like 10 years since that happened? lol

The pacing is horrible ever since the island arc. I still pushed through but I stopped watching during the mermaid one.

eh, better safe than sorry. I know a bunch of people here haven't gotten to that point and it's a pretty key detail that if spoiled kinda ruins the impact of that one scene just before the start of Luffy's solo adventure.

So what is Spider-Man 3 going to be?

Like, is it just live-action Spider-Verse?

Which island, specifically? :yeahboi:

this one's pretty outdated but it's the only high-quality one I could find

Didn't I hear that Charlie Cox was playing Daredevil in the movie? :yoshi:
Yes that was the latest rumor although it comes for sources with a decent track record.

It sure seems like it.

My bet is Wanda ****s up the entire Multiverse at the end of WandaVision, which will also coincide with the ending of Far From Home. Except now not only is his identity out there but his universe isn’t the only one coming together. Leading to a sinister six team up for them to kill Spider-Man. With Mysterio likely coming back and being The one who bought the villains together.

That’s my prediction Anyway.

The problem is that Toei Animation doesn't want to overtake the manga, or else they'll go into the sort of extended filler that Naruto is infamous for and the sort that got Bleach's anime cancelled. If they want to keep the series running weekly (as opposed to being seasonal, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or My Hero Academia), they seemingly have to stretch each chapter out to fill an episode.

There was a similar problem during Goku vs. Freeza in Dragon Ball Z, I think, except in this case, it's spread out over a large portion of the series. (maybe that problem existed for Dragon Ball as a whole, but Dragon Ball was a shorter series, so it's not as noticeable) It means that there aren't a ton of filler arcs (even though the cover stories would work well if they needed a few weeks of extra material), but it results in each episode having a ton of padding. (it's a big part of why I stick to the manga for One Piece)

The problem for me is that I stopped feeling like watching it because it dragged the story way too long. Maybe they had enough fans to keep doing it, but I loved Naruto's pacing compared to onepiece by so much more, and I was able to get through all of dragon ball, so even though it did drag there, it was more tolerable I guess :p

TGA 2020 predictions...Miles gets ****ed over by TLOU2 and GoT again and Tom Holland possibly manages to not spoil Spider-Man: **** Outta My Home or Uncharted: Into the Nathan-Verse...that is all

gotta suck it up and eat instead of starve...like the apocalypse
I will give them all my money if they just fill it with nods to the OG trilogy memes.
TASM memes where then? Cause Andrew wants the love as well

it's an unavoidable problem i guess ¯\(ツ)/¯ especially with how long the show is
I personally love reading up on the history and lore... the actual anime and manga not so much, so I'm good.

Wait, ATAT owned Crunchyroll this entire time? TIL I guess

Also I dunno about you, but I don't think this bodes well, especially since Funimation has been doing some... weird shenanigans in recent memory. Least last time I took a dive and snooped around anyway.

I really like one piece in theory, and did before it just dragged on too much, it's too bad really. I would've preffered a shorter series if they could fit more in, but I know they're trying to keep it going long.

I sometimes compare it with avatar (last air bender) because the pace is faster than regular anime. And I feel like 1 episode of avatar could fit 40+ episodes of One piece :p

It be pretty sweet if the final act of Spider Man 3 becomes a court drama that results in a Sinister 6 attack on the courthouse. Peter is getting his ass kicked, his lawyer disappears and so people are panicking.

Then the other two spider men Come in to help him out and so does his lawyer as Daredevil.

Would be a pretty sweet finale imo.

1 company having basically a monopoly on a service is never a good thing tbh.
Yes, that was going to be my one point.

It is quite concerning, but expected that there will be less companies, but those companies will dominate more.

Honestly, I would kill for a reanimated One Piece series that just crams the entire series into as little episodes as possible, maybe like a bunch of movies I guess. I think it would be nice, but I imagine that isn't happening anytime soon, with us still having around 5-10 years left of One Piece.

Not sure how this affect Crunchyroll, but it could spell the end of anime on HBO Max outside Studio Ghibli (unless they made a deal to keep stuff there)

More than half a year in and there is still no Ed Edd n Eddy on HBO Max...

There are those Episode of specials that abridge whole arcs but they're of mixed quality from what I hear.

Wouldn't really care for a remade series tbh. I'm happy reading the manga and then watching the anime later and have no room for a third version of the series.

I don't think this whole Crunchyroll deal will affect me too terribly; I already watch anime pretty much only on youtube anyway(oftentimes officially uploaded by the companies themselves) so I'm not too terribly worried. Is a bit worrisome for the future though....
