I know from when Alpharad played it Woody becomes omega anime, so that’ll still be cool, and the Marvel world will be cool to actually see this time.

I'm just going to spoil this ahead of time, this plot point goes absolutely no where up to this point in time.
There's a few more cutscenes with him in post game which end with Cloud and Sephiroth leaving in a glow of light to have a one on one, hence people memeing them ending up in smash.

Simplest explanation. Like in this universe instead of growing up in Nibelheim Cloud grew up in Hollow Bastion basically.
Cloud fans really ate good in Ultimate we got three stages for him lol

Nah in DIssidia's case it's the main versions of the characters getting isekaid to fight for the multiverse or something.

Sully also got a cool scene for himself in the Monsters Inc world which makes ya think Pixar's one condition for this is too make their protagonists badass.

TBF, I don’t see many ways to create a legitimate crossover story between Disney and Final Fantasy and making it work as a story that can be taken seriously. What we have is bat**** insanity and I don’t think it could happen any other way

Probably depends on how the cloud versions perform. You'd think after the presumed success of getting those FF games on there, and the bump from Smash, Square wouldn't still be this hesitant, but it is what it is, I suppose.

4. …how many times can they go back to Arial in this single game?
5. …why do I constantly have these thoughts that Sebastian is a secret murderer playing both Triton and Arial to keep the world order in control?

The real kicker for me is that the bit of gameplay that follows up from this is unironically really hype because Sora is teaming up with the Squall and the FF7 gang and taking down hordes of heartless together. It's a fun bit of gameplay.
