Please tell me about that. I'm curious, because I go uninformed on these manners. The last time I've enjoyed anything from Sony was the PS2

The short version is that the PS4 and PS5 have a battery that when it dies it renders the console unplayable.

Normally replacing the battery would make the console work again, but the thing is it has to connect to a sony server before it can be playable, this isnt a problem in the current moment but in about 10 years or so it might be a big issue.
