Am I the only one getting ******* tired of these Batman vs. Superman and Godzilla vs. Kong memes of Save Martha/Mothra.

It was funny when it all started but now it's really gotten old, hell even after the movie has come out, folks are still comparing and making jokes about it despite the fact the reason for Godzilla and Kong teaming up was much different than why Batman and Superman did.

Even then why the comparisons to begin with? You don't see people doing that with Freddy and Jason or Alien and Predator. What because they're heroic? Lame reason and excuse. Hell, you didn't see that with Cap and Tony in Civil War. So what? From then on for every vs. movie involving around heroes these folks are gonna keep doing that joke? Because at this point it's an overused joke/meme that has run its course.

The fact too I don't want Godzilla vs. Kong being compared to the trash that was Batman vs. Superman.

That's only like 5 movies out of the dozens of video game films made, and while I can't speak on MK 1995 or Rampage, Tomb Raider was not a good movie lol.

Sonic the Hedgehog especially.

Rampage also apparently did do decent making $420 million, granted The Rock starring probably helped with that.

I also thought to many people 1995's Mortal Kombat was considered a classic film and I can see why given it has the energy and goofy tone it retains from the games. Can't say the same for the new film that I was massively disappointed with...

Being among the best video game movies doesn't really matter too much in this case since none of them really lit the world on fire. We've had many critically acclaimed video games in recent years that have really set the bar for cinematic experiences in the medium, yet video game movies, at their best, have settled for simply being average.

My name isn't "Sonic The Hedgehog's Entire Audience" so take my word with a grain of salt, but I always thought it was pretty good, honestly. Nothing that really blew it out of the water, but it was fun. A lot of critics gave it mixed reviews though, if I recall correctly.

I wonder if we'll get an actual animated take on the story, since it actually ended after the movie was written and shot (the comic actually took from the movie's final boss). I know we've had an official animation once that looked nice.

You could probably finish it in one season or two at most, it isn't that big of a story but there's a lot cut from the movie adaptation.
