@ ledgerewskie ledgerewskie I missed seeing your build earlier but now I must tell you that I love you and all that you represent.

EDIT: If I or someone else were to request more stages to add that fit the quality and selection of current stages (provided it's not excessive), would you put more in? My experiences in trying to work with the ASL and cosmetics have not been pleasant.

EDIT 2: Won't read my SD, even after formatting and trying the new .gct (on hackless). I never have this problem. :(
Oh I run it on homebrew. Just use the boot.elf and apps folder from the official PM download and it should work just fine.

About the stages, though, there aren't a whole lot of other stages that I can think of that add something unique and match one of the tracklists. I've been making builds for about two and a half years and I used to add a lot more whacky costumes and stages but I found they detracted from the overall feel. There are a couple that I'd still like, though (namely Lineland Road, because Paper Mario needs love), and eventually I'll squeeze it in. Anyway, the updated ASL tool works very well, just make sure you add an entry to both stages and modules in the tool, and it's probably best to stick to L, Z, and Y for button combos as the other buttons all do something already. The .rel tool at http://lakora.us/ will also be necessary to get it working right.

I is dum. Thanks, I didn't consider that at all for some reason.

Alright. :) How do you recommend creating those smaller previews on the SSS for alt stages? Yours are really nice and I'd like to emulate them going forward.

Thanks! I'll probably have some trouble getting previews, but it should be pretty easy after that using these.

EDIT: One more question: How do you add .rel's to alt stages using Lakora? Is doing the _z or whatever to the name sufficient? What if the stage fits naturally over its location? (ex: N64 FD alt over FD)

I'll give an example. I have Jungle Japes as an alternate stage for Kongo Jungle 64. Since Kongo Jungle 64 is over 75m, I go here http://www.lakora.us/rel/ and choose Jungle Japes as the base to replace 75m. I suggest using the suffix _z for your first alt, _y for your second and _x if you have a third. You'll have to tell ASL what letter is for what, though. This is getting way off topic though so maybe you should PM me or go to one of the ASL threads if you need more help.

If you're looking into other Falcon skins, another good one to consider could be the Blood Falcon mod that actually makes Falcon's red costume that he's had for all 4 games into Blood Falcon's costume (different helmet emblem, angrier eyes, and belt with no gun). It was removed from the vault, but I still have the file for it.

It's pretty cool since that costume's based off of him, I've used it in my build ever since 3.02.

Ledger, Found a couple things with your build.
-Olimar's black and yellow BP is default Brawl
-Even though Bowser has 10 CSPs in the character char_bust_tex_lz77, I only can get 7 in-game
- The CSS grid icon is Smash 3 Marth, not Smash 3C brawl Marth.
Also, I am getting a lot of weird things with Zelda
So if there are 2 OOT Zelda's on the field everything works fine.

However, if one chooses Sheik, Zelda becomes all glossy

If Marth is chosen, she loses the shine one the dark red and gloves, but not on the bottom part of the dress,
al_150822_0602.bin.out.jpg
And if pit is chosen, she just becomes lighter. I have no idea why all of these occur though.

I think the first two are caused by spec maps on the other characters although this is just speculation. but the last one is just weird.
Each of these happen with multiple characters.

Also, Layell you sly dog on that preview! I could have sworn that wasn't there before.

Have you tested if that happens with normal Smash 3C Zelda outside of his build?

I have not. Lemme do that real quick. Lemme see if it occurs with the other Smash 3 skins.

EDIT: it does occur in default PM.

It was just a snapshot of a personal build so mistakes are expected. It was really intended to help you start on your own build anyway. Thanks for the Zelda problems, though. I'll look into it later.

Ahh, well the build things were for your knowledge if they were unintended so you don't have to go and find them on your own. Anyway, thanks for sharing though. and anytime on reporting bugs. Thank you for creating these wonderful models and fixing them when they need to be.

I looked over all of these and I really only have one critique.

"Melee Wolf" doesn't fit in with Melee Fox and Falco. The outfit and metal legs are fine but his head is still very command/assault esque. I have this issue with the pirate one too.

The creator of the original hack didnt import foxes head over melee wolf because that wouldnt look so melee i guess. And i dont think i can do the Sonic Boom outfit for brawl sonic...If i cant do it, then ill do Sonic wearing the SOAP shoes.

sanic bum can die, but that shade of blue is just right the color...to go with squeaky, soapy shoes.

My main concern with Kirby is whether or not it can hat very well...

Edit: Wonder how vacation mario looks without the hat on...

I will not work on Smash 3 Sonic requests anymore, its really slowing down my progress on Brawl Sonic.

Would you be able to add the belt and edit the helmet to look more like a hard hat? I feel that's really critical for it to look authentic.
Sadly, I don't know how. I have never made my own vertex hack and have no idea where to start. Is there a guide for this?
