Smash by itself is already a system seller, but the Wii U needs far more that Ridley in SSB4 to sell well.

That certainly gives good cause for them to make absolutely sure they get the most popular characters, and most of them, at that.

Mega Man is a third-party character, while Mewtwo is a returning veteran. So yes, Ridley is the most wanted Nintendo newcomer (we are ignoring Japan here since this is a Western forum).

First of all, DK's an ape. Apes don't have tails, Monkeys do.
