Important The Ridley for SSB4 Thread - End of an Era

The corocoro scans of Sm4sh have been released. No Ridley. The only remotely interesting thing that I can spot without hiring a translator is that the Darknut or whatever those knight dealies are called appear in smash run. And that ain't Ridley either.
Not really suprised though, this is pretty much what corocoro does.

Pretty sure the Darknut enemy was already spotted in Smash Run earlier.

So yeah, this is basically nothing new. Move on, people.

Well, to be fair, an Awakening representative was heavily teased. It was just a matter of it either being Chrom or Robin.

But it wasn't clear who it will be. Its like if Sakurai would tease a Pokemon Gen 5 or 6 newcommer without calling him, somehow showing him or even just hinting at who it is. There would be so many posibilities of who would it be. So, its doesn't counts.

Seriously, Dark Nuts in Wind Waker were awesome, and my favorite enemy in the entire series.

Well, to be fair, an Awakening representative was heavily teased. It was just a matter of it either being Chrom or Robin.

On top of that, there were little hints that pointed towards Robin rather than Chrom, like Robin's theme song being in the game. Though I suppose it's debatable whether or not that meant anything.

Anyway, seems like there's absolutely nothing Ridley related (or Wii U related, for that matter) in CoroCoro. No big reveals at all, just more details on stuff we already knew.

Same goes for Takamaru. Not once mentioned or teased until he was shown as an assist trophy.

Sorry, but only the first two of those are teases for Ridley. The others are meaningless. They help our arguments, because they prove that size doesn't matter in Smash, but in no way are they a direct tease for Ridley.

I'm curious to know if any character attacks the screen for a victory pose? Maybe ridley can turn his head to the side then bite the screen, then the screen falls down to his feet after you hear a decapitating sound symbolizing he cut off the head of the camera man XD.

I think you're forgetting about the dates Other M came out, and the inevitable week-before-launch Smash Bros Direct.

I do feel like today's POTD could potentially forshadow the next newcomer trailer, especially if it's in the next week. Meta Knight vs. Ridley makes a lot of sense (Dragon vs. Knight).
