I was on the Smashboards IRC the other day, and when asked what religion I was, I told them. They then proceded to laugh at me. Mods and members alike.
So my Religion isn't very well known. I worship three deitys... Does that make me a bad person? It shoudn't because I am a person too. I have the right to worship my own religion. Anybody who thinks otherwise is clearly an idiot.
I just made this thread to let people know that not everyone is Christian or Atheist, and people of other religions exist in the world. Okay, we may have "strange" culture when it comes to music, song and dance, but it should be respected by other people! If we were in each others shoes, would you want me to say "Christian? WTF SORT OF RELIGION IS THAT! LOL!" (That was one of the replies I received, although I have added some spelling, grammar and punctuation to make it vaguely resemble what I think it was supposed to say. And changed the religion to what the replier's was.) I can't believe that Smashboards seems to condone this sort of thing. It should be dealt with by staff, not joined in with and jeered on by them. I understand some people of smashboards are sympathetic to my plight and wish for me to be happy, but I need some advice. I am proud of my religion. And I wish to keep it that way.
