brawl can be competative and exciting but it doesnt have the same feel but i think it could have a scene in the uk if people would mabye give it a chance

loool That thread is amazing. So many arguements have popped up in there and disputes and brawl noobs going in there saying wavedashing is a glitch.
And it has been around for long now.

L = Jump
R = Special
Z,Y & X = Sheild
B = Grab
Tap jump off

Is tap jump off in melee?

No you cant turn it off. But you should be jumping with X/Y anyway and only pressing up for DI (you will learn that later if you dont know it yet) or to do and Up attack. In this game you dont usually jump with the Up button. Melee requires co-ordinated fingers.

I know. I just hate it when, as luigi, I do Jab > Jump > B-up rather than Jab > B-up.
I know what DI is.
I've been trying to use the defalt controls.
I would love it if people gave brawl a chance

you have to tap alot harder in melee to jump so you shouldnt have the problem of jumping before an upB

your controls are really strange it the most confusing control setup ever

You shouldnt be doing jump then Up B in melee unless your fingers are incredibly slow.
My fingers are incredibly slow, prob the slowest fingers in the UK.
I need to go back to my lab and work on my tech skill.
Can someoone give me some advice for tech skill with fox please?

Thats where you used to live right, if so thats good because it is alot closer and easier to get to.
Would spkz be able to come lol, he said something about he wants to get back into it and I played him the other day and he is around the same level as he was before but there is alot of room for improvement so would you allow him. It's your choice.

try to shine then jump before it ends that takes the ultimate tech skill lol.

Wait till you play some of the cheap characters.
Characters like CF and peach and sheik are actually good in melee lol.
And fox is one of the gayest characters but marth and sheik are way gayer.
You might end up changing your mind easy on who you want to main.

but the vids pro gave you are really good for teaching your stuff

its not too bad to get ahead of yourself i decided i wanted to main falco before i got melee but
you have to have an open mind and find who you are best with.

If you look at the tier list you can see the order of the characters to get an overall idea of who is the best and the worst. If you pick a specific on there it doesnt mean you will perform to where they are placed on the tier list though.

why is falco higher than fox on the PAL tier list?

Fox is better in NTSC than what he is in PAL.
Falco is better than Fox in PAL.
Fox's up smash is nerfed aswell as his up air or some ****, can't remember the details, he just lost a bit of banter that was all. But P.Pro brings it back though because he has the banter. :suess: Infact I think he's the only londoner who has the banter. Maybe KMAN, because we share the name, but otherwise, I'm drawing a blank.

Oh and theres more Falcos in europe than there is Fox. Good ones that is.

Yeah the banter in London is pretty poor, there are others who have it such as TC and Pdot. Nuffink as incredible as your area though, I want that one day to be my homeland.
