Damn, that's a little too short notice for me. I might be able to make that EMERGENCY tournament in Greenville in March, though.

Although I do need a reason to go back and visit Clemson...

I actually really want to come to this. I live on campus so its just a matter of getting out of my comfort zone and actually attending a tourney. I know Ill probably get killed but I want to go anyways haha. If I want to get in on any melee friendlies how early should I show up to this kind of thing?

Depends on the tournament and the time schedule (how tight it is). The venue opens at 10 but you should be able to get some throughout. There are typically a lot of new players there so you should be fine. Don't forget there's a venue fee for $5 and then $5 per tournament entry.

I'd advise you go and just hang out.
