well, imo, the only two characters that stand a chance for the 3rd/last 3rd party member for Brawl are Mega Man and Geno, and it appears that it's shifting in Mega Man's favor *Yesss*... But, who's to say that there's even going to be a 3rd, 3rd party member for smash? Maybe Sakurai will be a b***h about it and not have another 3rd party member...

I think sakurai knows that would be a very bad buisness move not to have a third third party character...and if any third party character gets in it will be megaman.

about two months ago i was optimistic about megaman getting in but by now with everyone that has gotten in i am sure hes in, time is the only problem, i don't like to wait. however even if it isn't him on the 3rd which i would hate but we still have the 17th but for now i would like to look forward to the 3rd. like you all have said, with all the seemingly meaningless updates recently the next big one HAS to be mega considering it is also the month for newcomers.

I really hope this turns out to be true and confirms SSBB as the best game ever. I was talking via IM with a source very close to a Capcom developer and got som interesting news, here´s the excerpt. (N is Me)

According to the good old wikipedia, this is not the first time Capcom licenses the megaman character rights to other companies wich apparently is what they will be doing this time.

He looks ridiculous? Nonsense! Why, his design is one of the best among video game characters. It was one of the reasons I became a fan of his. A nice mixture of anime and superhero designs topped off with a nice polished blue coating. And the big gauntlets and boots only add to the awesome.

Well, why don't you try one of his games or search for some videos on youtube. Yes he has many games and he's a legend on the same level as Mario and Sonic.

That's fine, but it's generally not a good idea to go into a support thread and boldly state your animosity toward the respective character. I'll admit, there are a few Brawl hopefuls I don't like, but I don't bash in their threads, at least, not the heavily supported characters.

back then my favorite games were Super Mario Bros. 3, Life Force, and Megaman 6.

Megaman 6, best Megaman game ever, I hope a Rush combination makes it as his Final Smash.

yeah, i wont be too dissapointed if we dont get him on the 3rd cuz to me its more likely we get him the 17th. Sonic was the second revealed in October, so mega man might be second in December. And the 17th is his true anniversary that capcom is STILL counting down to. I wouldnt be surprised if it was Mega Man, Falcon, and Ridley Next month... Or sakurai could announce a character tonight and screw the whole theory over

you dont lie the way he looks? well there are plenty of other looks for you too choose from. we got classic, X, legends, battle network, star force, ect.
you did not just say shadow, he is probably the one third party character with the least chance due to him easily becomeing a sonic clone.

that is an old article, but it is a hope riser. but I dont think I can trust annonamys sources so Ill wait to see what happens, I think megaman will be in hands down easy.

We'll I don't like the way Command Fox looked, but that didn't stop him from getting in. Megaman was originally made back during the time of the NES, so of course he looks plain, but he is still a great character.

seriously, in order to dislike you have to have actual reason. its probably a better idea if you played the game first so you seem to have actual knowledge on what you are talking about. plus i have to say it is ridiculous to bash a character on THEIR OFFICIAL THREAD. keep an opinion like that to another thread and like everyone has said, shadow should not even come into mind when one thinks BRAWL, megaman fits perfect and so is his design. that is all

IMO, I think MM3 was the best. the level design in MM6 was somewhat lacking compared to the other games.
