I still perfer the robot master powers from each character.

Mario = Fire Storm
DK = Super Arm
Fox = Gemini Laser.

megaman getting robot master powers does seem to be the best alternative if he takes powers. it not only distances him from kirby greatly, but theywont even have to make up anything new.

oh he did change shades of blue? I must have missed that demo, i have only seen one with sonic. alright then back to mega, depending again on which version of him gets in, what music will it play on his stages.

megaman X=most people want highway.
megaman classic=most people seem to want megaman 2 wily stage 1 music.
megaman.EXE=IDK, his intro music?
legends=have we even considered this?

Yellow and red colours for Mega man?

yellow=gutsman?(if classic) and red=protoman(if classic)

If it is the x version that gets in do you think that vile could possibly make an appearance on the subspace emissary as a mid way boss like he is in the x games. I am not sure whether or not there would be mid mosses on the subspace but if there was do you think that vile could be on there, he was always my favorite villain from the x series .

well, we dont know much about the SSE as of weather characters form their respective series will be used in the SSE. as far as we know though, there are quite a few enemies that are based off of enemies from a series, so we may see a boss who is like vile, or vile himself. I dont know for sure though as the SSE is one of the things we have the least info on.

it all depends on who is included into brawl, and who is inlcuded as part of that character.
for instance, rush will most likely be classics ^B, zero can be part of a Zelda/PT type team up with X, and protoman can get the same treatment as Zero except with classic. but if those dont happen then we can get them as assist trophies. I see characters like *insert robot master here* becomeing a assist trophy or bass becomeing one too.(maybe even axel but IDK about him).

Ill join you on that*prays we get megaman in the game and announced this week*. but you know that the speculation will only get more intense once we know he is and what form or even if there are alt costumes(but I doubt it at this point unless you could unlock costumes).

He rivals just about any main character. There were many requests from users for his inclusion, and he IS pretty cool, so I did what I could to include him. After all, this game does let you enjoy a dream cast of supporting characters!

Now that you mention it, I can see how one would get that vibe. Sakurai sounds as if he's trying to persuade the fans into liking the character. Of course, he does that for all characters.

Probably not much of a shocker, but it seems even characters who Sakurai himself deems are able to fit in the game, are not immune to Assist Trophy status.

hmm...the character roster may have already been decided far before saki was able to be considered(or he was out prioritized). or a smaller roster than anticipated?or in the worst case scenario, that some(or many) characters might not make it no matter how much people like them.

those arnt my worries either, but there are some characters that I would like in brawl that arnt that bad of ideas, but them not being the "main" protaginists+this update dont mix well...

I do think they are revealing some characters before then though...Though with Megaman, I'd expect him to be revealed first somehow

not all at once! that update would be awsome but at the same time crash all the hype. if anything the final starting roster will be revealed by then, as for the final roster itself, I dont think we will get the absolute final until after the games release. by then, I will have stopped checking the dojo(but this is irelevent to the dojo updates).

Right, and even then isn't Saki the main protagonist from Sin and Punishment? But Megaman, as I've said before, is an icon on the level of Mario and Sonic. Being an AT would degrade his accomplishments as well as Capcom's relationship with Nintendo. For Megaman it's all or nothing.

ya, hype is mannaged at a steady rate so that it is at its highest right before the games release, this way, it sells the maximum amount of titles from the start. besides, I think most of the stuff they will tell us is stuff we would know just from exploreing a few menus at the beggining or things we realy wont care about that much. however, we will get info about stuff that is crucial like Wifi cappabilities, changes to the stage editor, or even, customizable characters(if this is miraculasly added) and the third parties. but out of the things that give us excitement( like seeing the Challenger approaching wondering who it is) that will probably remeain hidden.

Translation into English: I like this user, he knows what he is talking about. But I doubt Mega Man or Geno will be ATed. That is like punching Inafune's face after offering to shake his hand or something else. I'm little bit scared about Mega Man not being confirmed but I am waiting because I feel like the 3rd party roster is still incomplete. although I really want to see the MEGA update soon, if i was creating the game i wouldn't show him either. Megaman/x are huge characters in the gaming world and i believe that showing him now might kill the hype like others said before because he is and will be the last third party so it takes out all of the guessing=no fun except for SSE.
