Have you played Onimusha Blade Warriors? If you have, you would see that he is an incompetent fighter that depends on forms to win, unlike the rest of the Rockman characters.
Why would I play a game that relies on 4-player multiplayer on the PS2? I'm not buying into that multi-tap nonsense.

Also, just because Capcom screwed up with Rockman.EXE once doesn't mean it'd happen again or with Nintendo/Sora.

kekekeke. those foolish olimar fans, thinking they'll get their precious olimar, just because its shigeru's birthday, only to be sorely disappointed to make room for another certain shoe-in.

anyway, my favorite MM game is MM aniversary collection. *taking the cheap way out*

hmm...
my favorite game would be megaman X collection once I get it.
out of the games I have played though, I would have to say, whatever megaman X game I did play was.(I played it when I was REALY young so I cant remember clearly the exact number). I thouroghly enjoyed the difficulty of the game...
second would be megaman64(AKA legends/DASH). it was actualy very fun to me, I hope it comes to Virtual console...
in third would come megaman 4, because, the only other megaman game I played was EXE.3, and I got bored of it fast. I have no disrespect for classic, but I just didnt enjoy his games as much as I would like to, but he does have a solid third in gameplay for me.

Ya know, X is not the first, newest, most popular, or most well known of all the Megaman's though

ok well i guess since i started the game, i'll go now

My all time favorite Megaman game is....

Zero 3 *shot*

but in all seriousness, it's between Zero 3, X1 - 5, Legends 2 (**** I never finised it though) or Megaman and Bass (I haven't played enough of the classic series to say much about 1 - 6 but they'd have to be good for me to like the entire franchise, no?)

EDIT: Yes I know that's a lot of games for the number one spot, but i just can't put one over the other, it's hard, lol

Id say hes the most well known, or at least equally so withclassic...
And he is very popular...
You might be thinking of Axl cuz apparently Japan hates him and anyone resembling him...
No one in America knows him...
And he...well with Model A he is the newest...

My number 1 is DASH 2, followed by X4, and either Megaman 6 or 7 (I getem confused)...
It wzs the last one on NES...

Tie between Mega Man 2 and 3. 2 had my favorite video game music of all time (and the best robot masters of Mega Man history IMO) and 3 had great gameplay...and introduced Proto Man...and the slide.

I thought you bought X Collection a few days ago.

Heh, the first kind of Mega Man I was exposed to was the original Mega Man X, I forgot about it all of these years and when I downloaded a bunch of ROMS and checking them out, I found it, and all the childhood nostalgia rolled right in.
Oh, and I didn't actually have it back then. I rented a few of my SNES games from the Blockbuster down the street.

I hate those because the only controller options are Gamecube & PS2, both of which have awful control pads. Only the Anniversary Collection got an Xbox port, which would allow for 360 controller use, which are great, though I've never played it.

That's not true at all, the gamecube's Dpad is a piece of ****.

But I just use the control stick, it works just fine.

A d-pad is a d-pad no matter what controller you play with.
Not really. The Gamecube's is identical to the GBA's, so it's way too small for most games. The PS2's has next to no diagonal movement.

The Gamecube AC is horrible. It & the PS2 one contained no button remapping option, & for some bizarre reason CoA decided to make B jump & A shoot.

The PS2's isn't so bad, with X as jump, Square as shoot, & Triangle as autofire, which is dumb to use anyway. I have that one, but I haven't been able to play it since my PS2 broke down shortly after Kingdom Hearts 2's release.

The Xbox port was released a month or more after the other 2, & CoA added a button remapping feature to that one. I think they also added all the bonuses in the other 2, including those that were until then version specific.

The extra features blew, though, at least for the Anniversary Collection. The PS2 AC had an interview with Keiji Inafune that was stolen from G4 or something that was editted so the interviewer wasn't present. The Gamecube AC had the first episode of the non-canon US cartoon, which is cool, but doesn't appeal to me, as I have both boxsets that comprise that entire series. The features they share are some really nice pieces of artwork, both conceptual & final, as well as some pretty lame music remixes. Though, these extra features aren't that bad, considering this was a project completely done by CoA.

i really enjoyed that old episode of the American Mega Man Cartoon cuz i didnt know it was an unlockable. I liked both the X and anniversary collections, even if the button mapping was akward. it was just a hell of a deal, all of those mm games for such a cheap price

Who here would love to wake up and see WARNING! Challenger Approaching! And see Mega Man X. Followed by a movie for him using the X8 Intro music or "Wild Fang" for the Japanese version?

I know I would.

Axl is a fan character who does not deserve to be in the X series.

I hate him with a passion since the X series has always been about X and Zero.

Your PS2 stopped shortly after KH2...
You do know the new KH2: Final Mix is coming out (I dont know if itll hit the states) with a new secret ending and bonus game; KH Re:Chain of Memories (3D chain of memories) as well as two definite games onthe horizon (KH 358/2 Days - DS and KH Birth of Sleep - PSP)
