Why would I play a game that relies on 4-player multiplayer on the PS2? I'm not buying into that multi-tap nonsense.Have you played Onimusha Blade Warriors? If you have, you would see that he is an incompetent fighter that depends on forms to win, unlike the rest of the Rockman characters.
Id say hes the most well known, or at least equally so withclassic...Ya know, X is not the first, newest, most popular, or most well known of all the Megaman's though
ok, and that has to do with me liking his games more because?...Ya know, X is not the first, newest, most popular, or most well known of all the Megaman's though
Tie between Mega Man 2 and 3. 2 had my favorite video game music of all time (and the best robot masters of Mega Man history IMO) and 3 had great gameplay...and introduced Proto Man...and the slide.ok, time for a game - name your favorite megaman game (from any series) and why it is your favorite
I thought you bought X Collection a few days ago.hmm...
my favorite game would be megaman X collection once I get it.
out of the games I have played though, I would have to say, whatever megaman X game I did play was.(I played it when I was REALY young so I cant remember clearly the exact number). I thouroghly enjoyed the difficulty of the game...
second would be megaman64(AKA legends/DASH). it was actualy very fun to me, I hope it comes to Virtual console...
in third would come megaman 4, because, the only other megaman game I played was EXE.3, and I got bored of it fast. I have no disrespect for classic, but I just didnt enjoy his games as much as I would like to, but he does have a solid third in gameplay for me.
I salute u sir.my favorite megaman game is either the original megaman game or megaman x4
Axl wasnt THAT bad.....i forgave his gayness for how he saved X at the end of X8Wow, i had no idea people hated Axl so much, lol. But that's what happens when you're a plot device.
We are in the clear boys!!
No characters in 3 weeks!
Quoted For Truth!!!!!Yep, this HAS to be building up for Megaman...
Sunday!!! Megaman is updated!
id be more worried about the cube controllers buttons than the d-pad. though i nver owned a cube so i dont know how bad it isThat's not true at all, the gamecube's Dpad is a piece of ****.
But I just use the control stick, it works just fine.
64 smash. 8 yrs old and it still Pwns!............................
You've never owned a cube? Why are you on Smashboards?????
Not that I'm not glad you are, but I am confused.
Not really. The Gamecube's is identical to the GBA's, so it's way too small for most games. The PS2's has next to no diagonal movement.A d-pad is a d-pad no matter what controller you play with.
The Gamecube AC is horrible. It & the PS2 one contained no button remapping option, & for some bizarre reason CoA decided to make B jump & A shoot.id be more worried about the cube controllers buttons than the d-pad. though i nver owned a cube so i dont know how bad it is
i really enjoyed that old episode of the American Mega Man Cartoon cuz i didnt know it was an unlockable. I liked both the X and anniversary collections, even if the button mapping was akward. it was just a hell of a deal, all of those mm games for such a cheap priceNot really. The PS2's isn't so bad, with X as jump, Square as shoot, & Triangle as autofire, which is dumb to use anyway. I have that one, but I haven't been able to play it since my PS2 broke down shortly after Kingdom Hearts 2's release.
The Xbox port was released a month or more after the other 2, & CoA added a button remapping feature to that one. I think they also added all the bonuses in the other 2, including those that were until then version specific.
The extra features blew, though, at least for the Anniversary Collection. The PS2 AC had an interview with Keiji Inafune that was stolen from G4 or something that was editted so the interviewer wasn't present. The Gamecube AC had the first episode of the non-canon US cartoon, which is cool, but doesn't appeal to me, as I have both boxsets that comprise that entire series. The features they share are some really nice pieces of artwork, both conceptual & final, as well as some pretty lame music remixes. Though, these extra features aren't that bad, considering this was a project completely done by CoA.
i prefer the original version. Wily Stage 1I only have one thing to say in this thread. Okkusenman.
Interesting, who else was?i prefer the original version. Wily Stage 1
EDIT: or this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKnek80eyPs
DOUBLE EDIT: Even though it doesnt mean anything, Mega Man was listed as one of the brawl hopefuls in the latest Nintendo Power.....
crap, i cant remember psycho, I THINK Geno was, but dont quote me. i'll stop by the store tomorrow and get back to you...Interesting, who else was?

I did try too, but all the stores emptied there game cube stock out to make room for the Wii, now I am waiting to order over ebay.I thought you bought X Collection a few days ago.
Heh, the first kind of Mega Man I was exposed to was the original Mega Man X, I forgot about it all of these years and when I downloaded a bunch of ROMS and checking them out, I found it, and all the childhood nostalgia rolled right in.
Oh, and I didn't actually have it back then. I rented a few of my SNES games from the Blockbuster down the street.
W00T! megamonday here we come!Yep, this HAS to be building up for Megaman...
