Attention all club members.

Sorry I haven't been around SWF more in the past few days. I've been mostly helping the Ridley Club and their site get back on its feet as of the moment, and I've also been hanging out at P2W to try and finish the special memorial comic. So, at least for just the next few days or so, I'm going to be a little bit scarce at SWF. Carry on with business as usual. I'm going to leave Deathborne in charge of the Bomb Squad while I'm gone, so he decides if any new members get to join and things like that.

BTW, ~N9NE~, that picture rocks. It must go on the first page.

I'll pop in a few times in the next week, but don't expect me to come back in full force for the next couple days.

Excellent addition. Bomberman would be perfect. The only problem is that I don't like how he only uses bombs. We should pull out some moves with his power-ups. I tried searching a bit but I can't find what his power-ups are.

You mean that for the B moves he should activate a power up from his games? I don't see that happening. Imagine Mario using the star power, or mushroom, or bee mario as one of his b moves.

Bomberman would be fine just using bombs.

@ RDK indeed it must.

EDIT: I ignored the possibility of him using the jet / copter. That is indeed a possibility. I personally, would prefer bombs though.

@Legolastom- Does anyone else appreciate the debate that Lego has given us. Sure some un-needed rivalries were started, he and Loooooni gave us an insite on what some anti-bombers are thinking, no matter how weak there points are.
Plus, and increased post count is never bad (except spam, etc.). Without the hating we just might be on page 36.

Also, your banner's not half bad! I favor the fact that its smaller to fit in overfilled sigs (...yes, mine). The only thing would be the quality, which would probably be fixed by a kind poster (Hinty, hint hint).

Yeah, I realize that. I just used some animator I found online, and it totally messed up the colors. I know I have ImageReady somewhere, I just haven't installed it on this computer yet. I'll see if I can find it.
Also, RDK said the background was distracting, and I still need suggestions for what the background in version 2.0 should be. For the good of the world, METEO SUGGEST!

@B/RDK- I think a quiz should be made, or atleast something other than liking Bman. Ill try to think of something.

I think they should just contribute something to our cause.

Point- Bomberman's gay.

Not to flame or anything, just discussion, but I, personally, would like it if all he used (at least for his B moves) was bombs. Even though it's generic, it hasn't been done, making it also original. It's like some sort of crazy paradox of awesomeness.
That's also why I supported Little Mac.

Up + B = Bomber Jet wouldn't be bad, or copter to make it a little slower. If it were copter, I can imagine it to be something like Snake's, while jet would make it a little bit like Pit's.

Maybe while he's swimming, he could put on the Bomber Marine?

To have him using the Bomber Marine while he swims would be a nice touch, but I don't see it happening unless swimming plays a significant role in the gameplay. All we've seen is swimming on the Delfino Plaza stage and The Summit. Implementing the Bomber Marine just for instances like that seems unlikely.

I envision Wario and Bomberman having a rivalry in the Subspace Emissary, considering their history with each other.

Unfortunately, I've been having connection issues as of late and I'm gonna be quite busy myself with school work (it's getting toward the end of the semester). @ Sabre, here's what you need to know about Bomberman and Snake. Deathborne pointed this out a while back.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot! Bomberman's already been in a Smash style game, DreamMix TV World Fighters released for the GC and PS2 back in 2003. It was a crossover featuring Hudson, Konami, and Takara characters, and while it was admittedly a poor man's SSB, it still looked like lots of fun. And guess who else was in that game? That's right, Solid Snake. And now that he's in Brawl, makes ya kinda wonder don't it?

But Wario is apparently a villain in SSE. It'd be Bomberman and Snake vs. Wario. Which, in my opinion, would be a cooler fight and a cooler team. The Dynamo duo.

They (Snake and Bomberman) should have an actual sitcom, where they move into an aparetment and they have to convince their landlord (Bill Cosby) that they're gay while also running a home TV show and raising six inter-racial kids.

Doesn't the term "Bomberman" actually refer to the species and not the specific character? According to Bomberman Wii, they are an actual race known as "Bombermen". The specific Bomberman that we hold so highly on this thread's actual name is "White Bomber".

I just wanted to bring that to the general attention.

Yeah, that's where we got the codenames from, but most people know him by Bomberman, anyway.
Yoshi's name is actually Super Dragon, but he's known as Yoshi.
Also, I thought his name had been retconned into "Cheerful White" (which is where the alternate codename possibility came from), or is that just for Bomberman Land?

I don't think so, I think No-character-vember is leading up to December, the first update of which is the fabled 12/3.

"No-character-vember"... *sigh* Ain't that the truth... But I think I'd have to agree with ~N9NE~ that a character update for Bomberman, if at all, would likely be sometime in late January. Remember, there's still many high-profile first/second-party candidates to and veterans (*cough*captainfalcon*cough*) to get out of the way, so that's what I'm expecting most of December's character updates to consist of. Of course, I could be wrong, but that just seems to me the most logical progression.

I don't think we should start basing all of the Bomberman canon on one game--and Bomberman Land, at that.

His name is really the "White Bomber", but everyone just calls him Bomberman. Techincally, his race is the Bombermen.
