Oh thanks for reminding me Evan, gotta go get mine.

Good games to everyone at wilson a few days ago. Bugs and Wad I'm still down for matches today, though I already talked to you last night Wad. I'll give you guys a call.

I need to get off my butt and get Jirachi already. :S I guess I'm not as much of a pokemang fan as I used to be.

Btw Evan, a wonder card is apparently just something that you get when you get an event pokemon saying you got it, kind of like a diploma or something. You can only hold like two or three I think. Anyways yeah, that's what the internet says it is, but I guess it's not an issue anymore if you got some Jirachi's already.

Yeah, I checked last night, lol. You can only have three, so I deleted an old one and got my Jirachis. I might try to make one of them shiny... I think you were asleep when I figured it out.

What is this jirachi event that you speak of? Is this a toys-r-us event? I actually have the colloseum bonus disk, so I can get a jirachi any time I want. And Kami it was awesome having you there this weekend. You too Jizzard, and your friend. We had some good times.

Okay Gage, I'll give you some info.

Friday night SOregon smashfests at OSU! In Wilson dorm on 13th and Adams in beautiful downtown Corvallis! Times may vary week per week, either Buggs or I will try to update it every week here.

Who to contact:
Indigestible Wad(Tyler) phone number: (503)410-0482
Buggsdabunny(Allen) phone number: (503)481-2290

Or just contact us here. I seem to be on a lot, and Bugs is on occasionally too, so either way it works. If you want to bring a tv and setup in case there are a lot of people, and also to get off the laggy big screen in the wilson lounge, feel free to do so. There's a parking lot right behind the dorm, so park there and knock on the window to get in.

Gamestop is having a thing where if you do mystery gift there, then you get a free Jirachi. It lasts until like March 13th? (I wanna say it ends around there). To get mystery gift itself, go to the jubilife tv station, on the third floor and tell the guy on the bottom of the area "Everyone happy" and then "wifi connection", then next time you turn your game on you'll have it. So I guess as long as you're in a Gamestop or right next to it, you can get one. I'm assuming it's one per game or something.

I have been to a poke gift event, so yeah, I get how it works. But yeah thanks for telling me. I stopped playing professional pokemon a while back ago, since I just diddn't have the patience for it, but that's cool anyway.

And gage if you want my thing to be as in-depth as yours is, but I have to go to sleep soon, so it'll have to be later.

Hmm I wonder if you have to do this during a certain time of the day. I almost want to walk over to Gamestop even though they're closed and see if it will still work xD

Capturing fictional creatures was so much simpler when I was a teenager. >_>

I cleaned my ps2 lens today... had to open the case. I have 47 pokemon stickers decorating it and i had to slice 3 of them, one of them my pretty venasaur sticker... I feel so heartbroken...

However now i can play dynasty warriors 6 =D

I was so happy when I learned how to fix my ps2 lens haha. I was all "YESZ I don't have to pay a ton of money now :D"

What's funny is that I did this because it would play all but like Ico, and a few games I didn't have anymore. Once I fixed it, I only played like 20 minutes through Ico, which is supposed to be one of the best ps2 games ever (which is why I bought it), and haven't played it since haha.

Updated front page with your info Wad. I don't expect it to be as in depth as mine haha. I spent too much time on it. The AIM thing with all the different colors took me forever to do haha.

Those colors blinded me.

As for Ico. Someday...........someday.........

BTW I went to Gamestop today at like 5AM way before they even opened, so you can get Jirachi in the middle of the night if you want to. The only thing is that he doesn't appear in the pokédex. o_O

I'm actually playing through Ico right now with my gf, we're at this part where you walljump to a chain to raise a platform up to the statue thingies yarda or w/e opens. I'm just past that at the windmill, just got there last night and had to turn it off due to sleep deprivation. It really has been hooking me. I just get tired of fighting 20 baddies with a stick at times XD On a side note, Shadow of the Colossus ranks really high for me as well, developed by the same people which is why I even bought Ico.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new here, and I was wondering if I could join this social group. It's been hard finding a first smashfest/tourney to go to, and i was wondering if I could join your social group? I have a couple of friends that are more casual gamers, myself being the only competitive player of them at the moment, but I asked them if I went to a tourney of smashfest if they would want to go too, and they said yes. I think one of my friends has great potential to become competitive like me, so I might help him out getting started.

I live in Monmouth, and at this moment I play only brawl well. I suck at melee. I'm contemplating whether or not to go the the OSU smashfest, since it is very close to Monmouth. I think it might be a yes. Maybe I can get to know everyone and make some great friends, and learn how to get better.

Again, I'm finally beginning to immerse myself in the knowledge of how to be good at brawl. I still haven't gotten the character match ups embedded in my brain, and I KNOW I'm probably gonna get ***** bad, but I want to go anyways to see what it's like fighting in a competitive scene so I know what to expect.

Lucky for you there's a pretty good pika main in Corvallis. First things to read up on: Short hop, fast fall, and L-cancel. Learn it. Love it. If you're ever in Portland you're welcome to just drop me a line and I'd be happy to help you get started. I'm not as good as some of the people here, but I'm more than adequate to help you improve a lot with the basics. Welcome to the Oregon thread :D

Zeroxius, smashfests are the best way to get to know new people in the community. You have a pretty good Brawl Scene in SOregon, so you should be well off. Theres no need to be hesitant. Everyone in the community is pretty friendly and more than happy to see someone new joing the scene. Just go to one of the weekly smashfests at OSU and you'll be getting to ****** in no time (in and out of the game).

On a side note. I'm going to talk to Jesse about us holding our tournament in Jesses house. Jesses mom is gone for like a month. So that means we could have the upstairs and downstairs if enough people came. To hold our amazing tournament. PC Chris and Darc aren't coming. Kiwi is still coming though from the last time I talked to Eggz. It would be a Melee/Brawl tournament.

Me too. I have three legitimate ones now!

I'm going to try to make one of them shiny. 1 in 8192 chance, wish me luck.
You are one patient/bored person. I tried to get a shiny Giratina, gave up after like 50 tries, lol.

Welcome to the community Zeroxius. Is it bad if I've never heard of Monmouth? :x Anyway, I hope you join in the melee crowd! Regardless, go to smashfests, they will help a lot. If you're ever up in the portland area I'd be glad to play, and I also go to corvallis pretty often so we can play at a smashfest there.

On a random side note, I need a new avatar :|

I could not, would not, on a boat.
I will not, will not, with a goat.
I will not eat them in the rain.
I will not eat them on a train.
Not in the dark! Not in a tree!
Not in a car! You let me be!
I do not like them in a box.
I do not like them with a fox.
I will not eat them in a house.
I do not like them with a mouse.
I do not like them here or there.
I do not like them ANYWHERE!

I do not like
green Eggz
and ham!

^ (In other words, I'm probably going)

Tyler: Pikachu MM?

Keeper: Lol you crazy. If you intend on using it, I'll laugh if you get a shiny and it has a terrible nature.

Kami: http://www.aeropause.com/archives/images/morph-ball-cat.png

^ Do this. :p

Oh yeah SWF has like a 100 x 100 pixel cap. And considering how large all the pictures of that are, downsizing it ruins the text. Q_Q

Aww, I'm touched.

If you only play brawl, brawl smashfests are on thursdays at Cinnamon's house. Talk to Tuen about it. He's the one who organizes most of the Corvallis brawl scene. Although if you want to come to OSU smashfests, I do play brawl and I'm sure a couple other people might be willing to play as well. Either way, you'll see me, so that's cool. I play yoshi in brawl, pika in melee. I hope to see you soon!

Kami, monmouth is like ten miles north of corvallis. Er, no wait.

Thank you all. I really want to get good at this.

Yeah, I don't expect for people to know about Monmouth, we moved here in like 2006 and I have some to love it. It's in a good place to travel to places near.

Well, I'm definitely excited then! My friend Alex might become competitive, he said he would go to his first smashfest with me if I went, even though he is not competitive.

i plan to pick melee back up when I get comfortable with brawl. I'm mainly focusing on brawl atm.
