Hey t1mmy, Noah wanted me to ask you if you wanted him to bring his two tvs + Brawl setups to BCG.
Also Foos, if you see this, can I get a ride with you? I can help pay for gas if you want. I want to be in time for Melee and get back home by Saturday, and I heard you might be doing a carpool that aims towards both of these.

Wow, I drive home at 12:30 after the smashfest last night and still somehow every light I come to is red.
The consoles will definitely be helpful. He can bring his TVs if he really wants to but I have 5 TVs right now (2 are big enough, 3 are smaller).
That is correct, no admission fee and everything goes to pay-outs for Melee and SSB-VC.
Just to clarify, the Brawl tournament is being held at Big City Gaming down the street.
BCG usually charges $7 for their events, which obviously doesn't apply to those who are only entering SSB-VC and Melee at our place.
I want this tournament to be awesome, so if there's anything anyone needs just let me know.
If it's the same car as ever, then there should be at least one seat in the back that has a working seatbelt.

How many SoOR people are going to play melee it seems? Corvallis how many people are your bringing etc... Trying to figure out whether to take my carpool to Otto's or down to Eugene. Really want to do both, trying to find a compelling argument to make Eugene.
Will Corvallis be having a smashfest on Friday night by chance. If we could come down for that, if something like that is going down, I might definitely be down to go south instead of north.

This tournament was very meh for my melee, but I learned a looooooot (like I learned why I was getting throttled so often whenever I faired originally v. C. Falcon, I let them get to close to grab or hit me out of fair), my playing only got at the level where I was being consistent when I was playing ****ard (those were fun matches btw). Brawl was actually pretty decent for me.
I'm gonna practice so I can actually show what I look like when I have control over my melee coordination lol, so hopefully I can be freshed up to show better play and be more of a challenge at LOST 6.
Brick seems really beast at Melee doubles, and winning that $5 mm v. Ratking... wow, he's been hauling.

I want to thank everyone for showing up and I hope you all had a great time. I think we broke the record for the largest Melee tournament held in my living room! XD

I also want to thank everyone for being great guests - it really makes the T.O.'s life a lot easier. It was great seeing you all again and a lot of fun meeting new people.

Kakarot is a nice edition to our scene and it'll be nice having him here. The only thing I didn't like is we got home at 6am haha.

That tournament was pretty fun, but the main event didn't happen til after the tournament. I ended up coming back in and suddenly everyone was gone except for 3 others who provided such a fun teams experience that it may be the most fun I've ever had in melee. Each match everyone (seemed to be to me at least) trying pretty hard and it was just a really fun bit of experience. Also thanks for teaming with me Kakarot, we'll have to get some serious training in ;p. Big thanks to Jesse/Kyle/Ben for the teams games... omg too legit. Sorry if I'm rambling, I really need sleep. XD <3 for all, let's play more next time Johnny, could use your input on my falcon as well as the match up experience as hey, it's Oregon. Allen, we missed playing! More falcon dittos are always welcome, I enjoy our matches a lot. And Timmy/Tommy, thanks for hosting us for such a fun time! Good job keeping on top of things!

Unfortunately I won't be making it as I have a friend in need of support this weekend... I would like to support Oregon scene and Phil's tourney to boot but it isn't lining up right now. I'll be available more often though, I feel inspired again. Right there with you on enjoying that tourney Gage, my worst performance pretty much ever and I couldn't stop having fun haha.
edit: I'm fiending to smash so bad right now it's unreal. I'm going nuts at my work desk practicing my nairs in my head.

Didn't think the tourney was gonna be that huge. Definitely wish I had more time to get more friendlies in. Huge thanks to Timmy and Tommy for hosting and all the tips from everyone. Really gunnin' to get better.

FoosJr is a beast, I now have no doubts that he is top 3 in Oregon.
Jonny is also way good and definitely earned his spot on the PR.
Cat is good as well, I would say better than me. I need to step up my game.
In the end, I was very satisfied with my teams performance(Brick is an amazing teammate), but not as satisfied with my singles performance. It's time for some serious Corvallis practice.

Brick you are a terrible piece of **** and I hope you get hit by a truck, even if you are one of my favorite Oregon smashers. Good **** though, despite feeling terribly embarrassed, you are getting too good too fast. Good ****.

edit: Also, Ratking, you need to come down for an overnighter sometime and bring Jesse with you! I'm picking up a decent sized smash tv when I have a play date coming up next :D

Had a blast at the tournament really wish I could have got more friendlies in though. t!mmy and t0mmy thanks for hosting also shout outs to everyone (mainly gage) who made sure bracket was being run.
