hah the way the laser tag worked was weird so I couldnt use my tricks. it was really ****ty....the guns used PVC insulator and PVC pipe if that says anything about the quality LOL
also they didn't keep score and people were taking off their sensors and cheating...heh
but yea I did ok I guess.

Ummm I seem to do just fine....... however I will be switching to GC controller mostly because I've discovered unwanted input when I play with wiimote nunchuck. Plus in high level play (atleast the stuff I've seen) most people don't mash smashes. They are timed and weighed with advantages and disadvantages in mind. Not with "how fast can I push a button/s". Besides, you can only smash as fast as your chosen character will allow.
EDIT: BTW I'll be in Lubbock November 14th if anyone wants to plan something.

anyone play melee anymore? i dont think any of us here at the apartments have even looked at brawl in awhile... expect for andrew with all items on... that boring *** game... if anyone is down for a melee smashfest any time soon... woo

You thought the thread was dying. I merely brought up the most recent topic that I could comment on. Free laser tag almost always sucks, and that's all there is to say about that........Just thought I'd point out you probably just suck. Yeah, its kinda harsh and I'm no pro, but from what I've seen people can play with wiimote+nunchuck just as well as everyone else using a c-stick.

brawl takes no skill anyways, who cares. i picked one character and spammed one move and when they got close i smashed with my c stick... and i won almost every time except when playing felix or ryan and even then id get them a few times. brawl is a game of trading hits. its as slow as balls and im pretty sure a ****** with downs could play brawl just as good as anyone else can.
and yes fmatt has beat all of us with his **** wii mote and nunchuck at least once or twice on more than one occasion.

lol, thread is heating up again =D. I say we just drop the c-stick issue. King has either concluded that we are either too closed minded to listen to his argument, or that we are actually probably right, but he doesn't want speak his mind on these boards. Either way, I don't believe he wants to continue talking about it.

lol....that i suck huh??? well if i suck that means adam sucks, and felix is little better than sucky.. and most people on here suck. thats just if your statement is correct .. i mean you said " you suck" and if im the at that level.. then sweeeeeet and i know they can play just as well.. my whole argument was it gives a SLIGHT speed advantage. and slight advantages can mean the difference you all know that

lol that was what I was thinking but I decided not to post.
anyways, apparently people are now hacking brawl and it is catching on. I think that is really cool that the community can actually make its own game practically, I look forward to trying out this hacked version people have been playing (you know w/ the whole they added wavedashing and such). now we really do have the power to make this game as good as we want. I always loved game mods for PC games and I really like that people are doing this for Brawl.
as for my continuation of playing brawl, I like brawl and melee and I cant really decide which I like better, but I do know I liked the melee community better just because it didn't constantly cry to ban stuff. people are now considering a metaknight ban and even though I hardly even play metaknight anymore, just knowing that the community is filled with whiny little *****es like this makes me not want to play brawl. I understand stage bans, many stages are very exploitable and don't accurately depict player skill. but character bans and tactic bans are going too far, they already banned MK infinite cape (when very easily a simple rule against using it to stall could be made) even though no one EVER used it to win a tournament match ANYWHERE. any more unwarranted bans and I'm not sure I'll continue to play brawl at all. (just FYI I dont think anyone here is like this, it is stupid people on allisbrawl and smashboards who I dont even know that are whining about it)
anyways fmatt I'll see that we have a tourney on the 14th or 15th. I'll go edit the first post.
oh and sorry guys for not having a brawl tourney this month I got lazy I suppose

Yayz! Old time's sake Tournament. As an answer for South I'll say this. Most people on the boards do suck. As for Adam I can't really say. I haven't played him since last semester. When I played him then he wasn't especially good, but as in melee he still shows great potential. If he continues to play with Ryan and everyone he will improve and become quite proficient.
Also I agree with Felix on banning things however I disagree with hacking Brawl or atleast adding things to it. I know no one would mind if tripping happened to disappear. Other than that I think people have just been too lazy to think of a way around the so called "broken" strategies. I've not really been hard at it myself, but I think where there's a will there's a way. I know I say this a lot but we spent way longer figuring out melee.

ya we will still have a smashfest the 14th. sorry guys I just dont have the same drive to play smash that I did last year.
...I hate Brawl T_T so borining now Melee well it'll take me time to get at least decent at it...I just hate Brawl cus WiFi and I mean everyone in Lubbock mains Snake boring as hell! I stopped playin MK I play Snake but bores the hell out of me Marth is fun but Samus and Gannon ftw
