Has anyone ever accomplished this in a match and has a video of someone doing this? I have not once seen anyone do this, so I went and started testing it out. My highest record seems to be 13 consecutive jabs across FD. The problem is that since I haven't seen a video demonstration and there are very few if any topics discussing this, I have no idea if the way I'm using to do this is the most effective, quickest, and inescapable way of doing it. I still have the replay saved up so if anyone wants to post it then I'd be more than happy to send it to them.

To set up a jab lock, you need hitstun, and Brawl has very little of that.

Plus, any jab lock can be negated just by teching unless you're footstooled. It's a lot harder to set up against a competent opponent than you think.

Partially because it is so situational, it's not even likely to come up, though if you do know, when it happens, it's pretty sweet (like Wario air release shenanigans).

jab locks are basically just there to punish missed techs after medium-ish percentages right? *** them to the edge of the stage and charge a shieldbreaker/fsmash.

yeah, it's pretty sad isn't it? the standards for education are slowly declining.
How do you say that standards for education are declining when this has to do with smash? education has nothing at all to do with smash. he might be dumb for thinking you can shield on the ground, but that's ssb physic's has nothing to do with his everyday knowledge.

Because standards of education ARE declining, the gap between supposed good and supposed bad students is unbelievably large and growing larger.

besides it looks more like sarcasm, with reference to his reading comprehension skills in regards to smash.

It's true that jab locks are situational and hard to set up and what not, but is it really too hard to have at least 1 video demonstrating it? As far as I know, all the other jab lock characters have at least 1 video of a jab lock for them and I was wondering why Marth has NO video of his.

Easiest way is to N-air someone on a platform of BF wait for them to fall and then Lock them in place. Still situational though.
