It's a little over a 5 hour drive from Shreveport to Houston. I wouldn't mind leaving Shreveport around 8ish, but I would not be good to drive the whole way due to tiredness. As for coming back, I wanted to leave, at latest, Sunday morning. I definitely want to drive out some time Friday though. Don't want long drive johns. : (

I think adding wavedashing to brawl would make it more fun..

Games would be more fast pace, and with wave dashing it might give some other characters a chance at high-top tier.

I personally support the ocerina hack. But then again i would like to hear other opinions on this as well.

I've been finding a lot of cool stuff with Samus.

Most obviously she relied on WD a lot in Melee and bringing it back in Brawl helps. The fact that you can air-dodge in a direction and then grapple though makes z-air even better. You just short hop, AD forward/backward and grapple. You can spam it to either carry someone off the stage or put up a nice wall between you while retreating. Great combo ender too since you can chase where ever they go.

The classic Grapple Cancel from Melee is back. This time though, you just air-dodge into the bomb without using grapple at all. The time that you get out of the air-dodge is the same time that the bomb goes off. So you bomb-jump and get your air dodge back again. You can however air-dodge and grapple to land on an exploding bomb on the ground though and cancel that way.

Conversely, grapple dropping gets you back on the ground a lot quicker than her floaty nature allows normally. Her general movement is a lot more fluid now as well with all the wave landing. It's so easy to finish a combo with an air-dodge grapple too. This seriously makes me want to play Samus again. She's back to how she should have been in the first place. Too bad it won't be a tourney standard any time soon.

So, Ive been looking at the brawl hacks for a bit, and the implimentation of wavedashing seems really fun. There is also shield canceling, which works the same as lcanceling in application, but cancels aerial lag with the shield, and since brawls shields are fast, its too good. I think this would make the game more fun, or atleast a fun side game for those who also enjoy melee, or want to transition from brawl to also melee.

The coder (same guy as Wave Dashing) didn't know that lag was only supposed to just be reduced, not removed all together. So the L-Cancel code is a little broken at the moment.

O yeah guys. I havean announcement to make.

and this involves Batto so listen up. Today at lunch Redson, Ezzio and I were bs'ing at lunch about brawl and stuff and laughing at character jokes and while redson was away for a time being Ezzio mentioned Batto sandbagging him and losing. eventually we got to skill levels and I said Batto could beat him with his hands tied behind his back(or holding his controler behind his back) and beat him blindfolded. then someother words were exchanged and a cinnimon match was thrown into that I guess you could call it a bet, so should we officially call a cinnimon match between Ezzio and Batto? Also with the blindfold, we are gona use a cloth that Batto can see through, so he at least can see(somewhat) of what he is doing?

also loser wont take as much cinnimon as redson. we dont want to kill ether one of them.

Though now that I thought of it it doesnt really have to be a cinnimon match, what if loser had to fight the rest of the tourny dressed as princess peach, though would anyone convieniently has a princess outfit thrown in a closet?
