How am I supposed to pick between Mega Metagross and Mega Sceptile (who has lightning rod)?

That story the other day was just me bored out of my mind.

& while I'm at it, I don't like PM too much now. Some characters get OP changes and then they s**t on characters such as Toon Link. I played with a friend who plays competitive as well and Squirtle's SA Nair is stupid.

Sometimes I wonder. (Let's give him a great wavedash, add tons of super armor, let his turn around do damage and start combos, gimping capability with aerials, give him 3 or 4 ko moves, and make his Fsmash safe on shield because it has Super Armor and retreat during the ending frames.

I know I play Falco/Mewtwo/Link but damn.

Oh man I know you know the low tier main struggle, Squirtle must really give Link a hard time.

Toon link is fine, lunchables does really well with Tink in Texas, and squirtle really shouldn't be the thing that makes you hate P:M.

I think he's probably talking more about the devs' approach to the system of P:M rather than P:M itself. Right now I like to make the comparison of P:M to Marvel in terms of ridiculousness. P:M is still waaaay better than Marvel on so many levels, though. I like it a lot even if it has a lot of stupid stuff in it. It gives me something to play with more people.

There are a ton of ridiculous mechanics in PM and questionable decisions by the devs but nothing to quit over. Squirtle is certainly rage inducing, but not OP. I agree Toon Link needs some tweaking (same with Oli). Luigi still can't throw hammers and he only has 2 jumps; that's the real tragedy.

I don't really have a super dedicated main in P:M cuz I've been playing a lot of characters as of late, but I'll go with who I've been having the most fun with.

Squirtle can't learn iron defense until lvl 34 you cheating ****.

I know for a fact it's lvl 31

I have a question to ask that I really would like some insight on from the players in our community and state.

What is a good way to practice Smash, whether it be Melee or Brawl for a tournament? I have one person I can play with but I know that won't help me improve in general because I need to play multiple people. I can't attend tournaments yet unless they are close to Monroe, for example Ruston.

I would like a logical answer, not a sarcastic tier joke.

If it helps, I main Link in Melee and Marth in Brawl.

The way I did it is practice tech skill and watch a ton of matches. It took me awhile to obtain melee again, but the entire time I was watchin matches and learning game theory more.
But yeah just grind it out in the lab hard man
