Ok... So i finally came across some good players in Lafayette.

Flare: Matt was telling me about you and how you were suppose to show at that "tourney", but got sick. We pretty much live on campus, so come over with Matt sometime or something.

and i met McFox 0_o. I didn't know he lived here... i thought he was in NY or something.

That was absolutely incredible. It was so incredible, not even the insane range of Marth could tap that, so the only thing he could do was roll away. =D

And yeah.. I really did want to eat some pizza, but when I wanted some, it was all gone. But ehh, I'll get some at the next meeting.

Yeah I ran fever all friday evening and saturday with a sinus infection. It was pretty upsetting but my energy was just drained.

What times would be convenient for you? If you want, I can post when I have breaks from school and work. Matt and I have started playing for a while on MWF mornings from 9:00 to 9:40ish. We were thinking about starting a friday night thing from around dinner time as well (if he hasn't told you). Blaise and I live off-campus and out of town by the way.

I don't have class till 10 on MWF, so I can do that. Where do ya'll play?

Friday nights sound good. My work has been letting me off Fridays, so that would sit well with me. Just keep me posted when anything goes down. I could give you my number or AIM if you want to work out times and stuff that way.

Yeah so there is still a mall tourney next Friday and I definitely want to go to get a second shot at Josh's peach with my Marth. One of us HAS to beat him!! And of course next next weekend is LAST which I am planning on going to and also willing to give a ride to anyone who needs one from Lafayette.

I think for some Fridays after that, that there isn't a tourney we should get together and play. I am offering my place but it isn't so nice, the TV is very small and far away from the couch and the place in general is pretty small. If Ben and his group would be willing to have some smashfest at his place that would be awesome and I could bring an extra setup. I think the only people that would be coming other than me would be Flarefox, Blaise and maybe every now and then Mcfox.


EDIT: Didn't see your post Neolink, we play at my apartment in Legacy apartments (on the other side of campus from yall :X). You can look up its location on a campus map and when you get there you can call me at (228) 424-3349.

It seems like it would really be out of your way though we only play for like 40 minutes then each of us has to go back to class. It just happens to be convienent for both of us.

Yeah, Legacy is kinda out of the way for just 40 minutes of play. I think i'll skip on that one. But i am down about Fridays at my place.. I wouldn't mind everyone over for some rounds of smash. I'm sure that we'll work out all the details later.


If my work schedule allows me, I can make it to LAST as well. Depending on how many of the guys here can make it, riding with you doesn't sound like such a bad idea.

M 9:00-9:40
T 9:15-9:40, 2:00-3:15
W 9:00-9:40
R 9:15-9:40, 3:00-x:xx
F 9:00-9:40, 5:45-x:xx

Yeah MWF at 9:40, it just so happened that Matt and I both have that same break. The 9:15 to 9:40 break on TR is kinda short as well. But, I do have some nice times on Tuesday and Thursday evening.

If you have any convenient overlap and want to meet up sometime, let me know.

I have to work at those times. And, no Matt, he's not.

Neolink, check my second to last post.

Matt and I had a great captain falcon vs. fox moment today. Missed shinespike to wall-jump tech to missed shine to wall-jump tech to missed shine. Falcon lives by hugging me with is recovery over and over. XD

No, no -- I'm not so random. I've just been retired for quite a while. I am coming out of retirement for the 9/22 tourney, however. -- not quite as random as you, in other words :) But I am a random person in many ways, so you are correct, theoretically. FFox and I are part of a very small but talented crew :)

school goes like this:

MWF - 10:00 - 2:30
TR - 9:30 - 1:45

i have work after class on on every other day. Otherwise, in the afternoons i'm free.

So you work all days except for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday? If so, then Thursday wouldn't be a bad time at all. I have a 1:00 Lab on Thursday, and then I'm out of there around 2:00-3:00, depending on how long it takes us to finish up.

we dont practice teams, we practice team combos. our spacing is impenetrable, our timing is impeccable. it's too easy.

on a more serious note i just saw Joe of the 4 brothers that used to play this game at our mall tournaments (joe wanted to wave dash manually lol), walking past me in the union. didnt say anything though.

This Friday I would hope we are going back to that mall so at least one of us could get the title from that homosexual named josh. Afterwards, if you want, we could come back to your apartment and I promise to pitch in for pizza if ya'll order again
