Finally hoooome! HOBO was too fun! Definitely worth the trip. Got my ass handed to me by Player-4, and almost beat Ford's Snake going all TL. I got to meet a lot of new people in person and some old people *coughteshcough*, and it was well worth the trip.

I know he went easy on me with his MK, but despite that, the fact is I was getting my MK experience with my TL and playing my game as best I could against someone who's better than me. I feel more confident now to play better and play smarter. The matches against P4 were so fun though.

there isn't much SDI can do for you if you were close to kill percents. I'd never put my controller down if there is a shot my opponent could screw up though.

Yes SDI only makes it significantly more difficult to keep up (I can literally do it with my eyes closed if you don't DI it). But there's certain tactics to combat a wildly sdi-ing player. P-4 just seemed salty as **** about pikachu idk.

I'll definitely try to make the Hattiesburg monthlies, it's a little farther than the trip to Slidell but I want to see what Hattiesburg has to offer

hots campaign keeps crashing on me. once per mission usually. anyone else playing/having this problem?

Just as a reminder. Get Hype this Saturday. I'll be out of town, but my co-TO's will be running Brawl and Melee in my absence. The only help they will need is with seeding people since they aren't as familiar with the PR like I am. Hope you guys can make it.

According to our calender, June 23. Realistically, I don't know because I haven't heard a confirmed date with Erick yet. I'll ask him tomorrow night when I go to smash night at his place.

Wow, got passed up again when I get on everyday. Well, as long as -Ran keeps up updated to a T, my complaining will stop here.

@Brawlman- definitely take my words to heart. I'm 99% sure summercon won't be on June 23rd. I'd expect it to be in July like it has been in the past. I'll still talk with Erick about it though and pressure him to make it on a Saturday.

It's not a matter of getting passed on. I went to Reflex, and told him people were sucking at their job. Reflex knows I have done it before as well.

With that said, I need:
  • Tournaments that are coming up.
  • Melee PR, do we have anything recent?
  • Brawl PR, when are you guys updating again?

Bad news BRM might have to be Sunday again. Lazertag is too busy on Saturdays they say. I can't seem to talk them into it without paying $400 for there conference room. :-\ At the least it will give me time to train the new TO for BRMs. If this continues we'll start looking for a new venue.

I'll be approaching the board that controls ohana pier to make the next convention a two day event. Involving Cards/miniatures tourneys the first day (Friday)and Smash and fighters the second. (Saturday)

As for events coming up the state circuit thread has everything linked to it.

Would Fridays or Sundays be best for BR Monthlies?
Until there busy seasons ends they're not budging on the no Saturdays thing. :-\

Sundays are better for me and Tim and probably jake but Nola can't come.

I'd look into getting a new venue. :/

Definitely a conference room at a hotel. You could get a small one and charge $10 for the venue fee to pay for the room. If the room ran $100, you could easily get 10 people between Brawl and melee.
