Ok everyone, im considering doing this monthly, unless people prefer it to be every 2 months.. I want opinions on this, i believe monthly would be good though cause it would be more for fun, + the venue is very nice and considerably big, and you only have to pay £1.50 each rather than paying a lot for travel and £5 venue. Also if we want to do another, only difference is I need a list of names (real life) for fire emergency and also you (Must) pay £1.50 on entrance, no dodgyness from guys like before thanks >_< Jam, anyone from yeovil and up north are all welcome!

London, UK! its overrated, the weather is stupid,
yeh sounds good C-Fuzz. i personally think leaving 2 months or something between the tournies will allow people enough time to improve at home before presenting their "new and improved" in a tourney enviornment. Also, we don't wanna oversaturate the tourney experience by having them frequently.

BUT im really fickle hence...

...I also personally think that having frequent tournies is supa coo. Also, I think some people may actually improve AT tournies or by the help of the tourney atmosphere. Plus, the venue is really good.

Whatever happens C, im there as long as unischool crap doesnt collide with it.

wave: how did the phone recordings of the matches we have turn out? how many did i actually lose ? @( email em to me when u get the chance? thanks dude

sorry to be so cruel >_< xD

so every 2 months? It dosent really have to be a tourney, can be a big smashfest if you want for monthly

+who has msn..?

Atm im thinking of just making it a big smashfest monthly, where at least 25-40+ people come each time..tourney is a bit dull with the knocking out and knowing who will prolly win

i tried all the web based iM clients aswell and the same thing happens. its really wierd, it automatically blocks a good majority of my list and greys out the unblock option.

i cant find any net solutions either which is lame but im gonna crack it somehow. i refuse to lose to a pc:(

lol my friend whos a self proclaimed pc whizz has looked at it. he reckons something is messed up with the registry files or some jargon like that(reinstall doesnt work either.)

i reckon a good format will fix it cos the msn does work on other pcs (im just never at any other pc which is no good.) im gonna format after my exams i think. any lost work = suicide
thanks for the offer tho C.

I think a 2 month gap between tourny/smashfests is a good idea, it gives people enough time to pratice and more people can make it because there will be more notice in advance. Should be a tourney though, friendly one. its the best way for people to get better but me and dan like i said will be there whenever with the tv's.

Well I'd say tourney, because before, during, as soon as your knocked out and after there are always happy friendlies going on anyway. Just make it non-money like last time or something.

A good idea is, you can pay money if you want or not, but you can only win the prize money if you do pay?

meh, if it don't make sense, don't bother

I rekon that the monthly Smash fest is a great idea! With that many ppl aswell i definitly dont want to be waiting 2months to play each time! I do understand what ppl are saying bout being given tyme to train but its all fun and games! This IS their training.

And yea your right about the torney bro. Me personally im kool playing a tourney and knowing that i probably wont win but for some it may a bit boring and dull and others may even get disheartened from playing. Plus i rekon that wen a tourney is going on there is less tym for friendlys against many diffrent people. that can happen at a general smash fest though and players have more potential for growth too i think. Just my opinion tho so woteva happens im there dude!

Oh and in regards to needing names incase of a fire hazard you were chating about name is André Hunter. Peace!

I would prefer it being every month heck even biweekly tourney or not because i dont have anyone to play against in my area and everyday i go without playin i get worst and by the time the next smash fest rolls around i would be starting from scratch again.

I payed the 1.50 quid >.<

msn - coolbway@hotmail.com

p.s. untill then who in london will be having a smash fest like Nhat or BrTarolg? ^_^

i know this is the london lots decision but the more the merrier, hold smashfests all the time, helps keep interest and develop skill, besides who takes more then a month to practice what they learned at a tourney lol...londoners cant be that slow at learning haha

whether or not you take heed of this you should be thankful that its not just my normal spam ^_^

lol hope to see u all at TNJ peace out! <3

I'd not be able to get to many (still unemployed and poor) but common smashfests would be so sweet. I'd be looking forward to the friendlies rather than tournaments, as I want to practice my dk and yoshi, but I'd still pay for some tournies :p

yeh for the regular fests, i reckon non money tourneys are the way to go; leaving the money aspect for the circuit tourneys.
Agrees with Spam.

Even if there isnt money involved i wouldent mind MM'ing people at these events =) i need to start playing Marth again XD

Its frozenwave hjere ^^

I think its a great idea, every month for the following reasons

1) for us, many of us play with other scrubs >.< or other people all the time and we dont get to fight variety such as IC's or rare mains you get me?

2) The venue is TOO sweet near perfect and better organised then Yeovil >.<

3) Its in London its the capital of england, its easy to get to, and because its in london theres alot of us able to get there

4) Monthly means we can be like some kind of social club xD where we can train and become the best!

Great idea Fuzzy for tourneys we could do minor tourneys like 8 man eliminations. Other then that smashfest social club, The England TEAM!
