No idea if this means anything but didn't the Arcade Bunny say Ashley's future is bright near the end of that game's lifespan?

I'm not sure I lost interest in the Badge arcade towards the end. I can't find any instance of him saying Ashley's future is bright (although it wouldn't surprise me if he did) however, He did say Ashley is by far the favorite character from her series. No idea if this means anything but didn't the Arcade Bunny say Ashley's future is bright near the end of that game's lifespan?
. This message was in the Japanese version only, however, we did get the last set off badges. I bought every single badge and kept tabs on what he said about Ashley, at one point he said she was by far the most loved of her series.Ashley's potential has been awoken, so look forward to the future of Ashley
They should make Monster Hunter Ashley a pallet swap!I always did think it was funny they used Ashley to promote monster hunter.
Nintendo likes to play dress up doll with Ashley. Knowing how zany WarioWare is it would certainly fit the character. If Wario get a pallet swap so should Ashley!Ynow, if Ashley did get in, do you think she would get some alternate costumes referencing some of these badges? It would be hilarious, awesome, and a very cool reference to the badge arcade. Plus, I think we would all want to play some of these costumes.
I posted about the ending some time ago, here is my translation for it.This is what I found regarding the Badge Arcade's finale. I'm sure most people here know the gist of it, but if you don't it's worth a look
Well Ashley's got to have something about brewing a potion. Brewing a potion is how they introduced her!How would this sound for a rough moveset?
Normals: She usually has Red transformed into a wand, which she uses for attacks. Many attacks send out magical blasts. She is light and fast, but her attacks aren't tremendously fast (though nor are they slow). However, they are fairly strong and have good range. Some attacks, including her forward smash, are even projectiles.
Up B: She turns Red into his broom form and can freely fly around for a few seconds. While on the broom, there are some special A-attacks you can use unique to this state. This ending does not put her in free fall. However, after using it, if you use it immediately afterwards, it won't last as long.
Neutral B: Ashley takes out her cauldron and starts brewing. After a second, she creates a potion, which is a held item. Pressing neutral b again will cause her to drink it, giving her a temporary buff to speed and knockback. It can also be thrown as a projectile which explodes for splash damage upon making contact with a surface or a character. If you hold the button down, you can have her spend up to 3 seconds brewing, which makes for a somewhat stronger potion. While brewing, she will automatically pick up any projectiles thrown at her and any items in her vicinity, throwing them into the cauldron, increasing the strength of the potion significantly. A potion that has taken a fully charged samus charge shot, for example, can kill even earlier than the charged shot.
Side B: After a windup, Ashley sends out a projectile. If this hits a character, they are not damaged or knocked back. Instead, they turn into a sentient spoon that can jump and run. However, it has no attacks or specials. They are also easier to launch while a spoon. This state lasts two seconds.
Down B: Ashley winds up for a second, before firing a spell at the ground (you can alter the trajectory to make it hit closer to or farther from her). After a few seconds, a piranha plant will sprout from the ground, chomping the nearest enemy This deals a lot of damage and kills early.
Well, I was more going for a sort of baleful polymorph spell in general. It could also be a small animal or a potted plant or something. Felt having that as a special fit her more than some blast of magic. She needs something kind of silly and out there.Ashley is capable of shooting purple lightning from her hand.
The turning her teacher into a spoon is only mentioned in the English version of Ashley's song. I don't know if very many Japanese people would get the reference.
yeah, a polymorph in general would work. It would certainly make Ashley original and stand out from the rest of the Smash cast.Well, I was more going for a sort of baleful polymorph spell in general. They're pop-out standees meant as a pre-order bonus for Gold in Japan. You mentioned a merch collection? All I have are the Club Nintendo dust cloths and the only other thing I know of is that little phone charm thing from 2004. What else is there? They didn't say exactly, it could be anything from Display only for shops or even a pre-order bonus.
Oddly enough, I too have a handmade Ashley plush that someone made for me. I'll have to show you sometime.I have the Club Nintendo reward, the keychain, and the rest are custom made like an Ashley plush that sits on the dresser. I'd still like to own the Nintendo Eshop card with Ashley printed on it. Just to hang it up.
I've seen some people insist that Waluigi being knocked off the stage in the Smash Direct was just Sakurai messing with people and that he'll "cheat" his way into the battle. If for some reason that happened, I could see this being a way to reveal Ashley as well.
This is what I have, and I'm ordering a few more. I would love it very much if Ashley got official plushies. Those would sell decently in Japan, and maybe even here.
Also, an idea for an Ashley themed stage would be Ashley's Story Book, where the stage goes to the right, all while you avoid those flying cookies coming right at you, maybe breaking them would release an item. Fit in the final boss somehow as well.
Ashley as a whole could bring a lot of interesting things to Smash Brothers, her whole character just works well with it.
You and me both. The Smash blog fills me with dread rather than excitement this time. She could be an Assist tomorrow.Every day we don't get a deconfirmation I breathe a sigh of relief.
I almost imagine Pit being a fan of hers due to her cosplay shenanigans. He seems like the kinda person who played badge arcade and lose a lot of money due to terrible luck in getting what he wanted.I imagine Viridi would make fun of Ashley and call her edgy like Pittoo(Dark Pit).
