In honesty it'd depend on who it is. If I get to pick like the poll says then hell yeah. There are a lot of Fire Emblem characters that would be great, like Edelgard being a heavyweight with a strong combo game through Raging Storm, or Caeda being mounted as a Pegasus Knight allowing for a strong aerial game but a light body.

I would not consider myself a disliker of fire emblem, yet the suggestion of another fire emblem character being in smash leaves me with no nice words to say. I think if there is going to be another fe character, they MUST distinguish themselves COMPLETELY from the rest of the cast currently in the game, a character that expands the idea of what fire emblem is through the perspective of smash, and the only character I can think of that could possibly do that is Mogall

I'd rather we hold off on the FE until we get to Smash 6 and can clean up the current representation we have so far, but overall I'd be fine with it.

We already were told in the last FE reveal "we know you dont want this" and "here is the finger." If we got another FE character I'd expect Sakurai to be screwing my mom in the video.

I would only want Lyn. But dear lord, help us all if Ultimate's final newcomer is another Fire Emblem rep because the biggest flame war in Smash history will happen in the community if that happens. The Fire Emblem character will be hated more than any character in Smash history just for being Ultimate's last newcomer alone. The salt produce by people would be so much, that the Earth couldn't handle it.

That's going to happen no matter who the last DLC is, because all the pissed people will blame that character despite the entire fighter's pass being determined in advance.

Yeah, but if it's another Fire Emblem character, that's going to create stronger heat because of Byleth coming beforehand. Fire Emblem fans will get harassed hard come next game if that happens.

If Lyn or any of the 3 houses Lords.. i would understand why people would be upset.. but i would be super happy and giddy inside.

I have to admiti thatsome of the fire emblem heroes exclusive characters wouldnt impress me too much though :/
