not a bad line upFor the sake of argument, though this would never happen, the ideal eight-player Smash for FF would probably be Cloud, Sephiroth, Terra, Kefka, Cecil, Squall, Zidane, and Noctis. Both a mix of uniqueness and popularity. I think most people would be satisfied with that selection.
Maybe so. At any rate, as it stands I don't see it happening until FF7R eventually concludes and proves that large-scale remakes are profitable on the long term. Well, that and SE actually doing anything at all with the FF1-6 entries. The relationship between fighters and recent games is fairly nebulous, but I do wonder if VI getting a remake in the last few years would have potentially changed her chances of getting in Smash.
i wouldnt have thought so. based on how SE seems to regard cloud and sephiroth i really dont think itd be anyone elseThe relationship between fighters and recent games is fairly nebulous, but I do wonder if VI getting a remake in the last few years would have potentially changed her chances of getting in Smash.
Agreed. Square has a bad habit of over designing their characters, but her design works quite well.Terra's overall look aged really well. While I find a decent portion of Square's characters a bit too over-designed, there's an elegant simplicity to a lot of her various looks that makes her work fantastic in 2D or 3D.

Who thought suplexing trains, meeting an octopus and performing in an opera could be so fun?

presumably. Owned by the same company and composed by the same geniusProbably a silly question, but as a hypothetical would getting the best of the VI soundtrack for Terra be as tricky as getting FFVII songs were for Cloud?
