well then. i am nicely asking for a friendly tournament next time whenever we meet together. we should all chip in like 2 dollars entry to make things exciting. what happened to the tourney we were supposed to have last time at jose? i am just saying to let everyone know hopefully we could have a successful one next time.

edit: spelling... and, i wish everyone would still enter. i know some of you might be thinking, "why should i pay money to lose?" i think we've discussed it before, tourney isn't just about the money, it's pushing yourself to another level. which is why i paid $75 at 0c3 to get chaingrab by dr mario peach and shieks.

second time edit: frankie if there would be another jose fest, is nick gonna be there? and mix alcohol drinks? @@ i might bring a container next time to bring a bit home... because i drive... you know.

well i already had this arguement with other ppl so imma just re say it here

people PAY to enter tournies due to 1 reason, they have a chance to win. other ppl may say "for the experiance" or for your perspective "pushing yourself to another level" which are good reasons for entering a tourny.

like i said ppl pay to enter cause they have a mind set of them having a chance to win. you enter once u lose first round. again you pay enter again next time and the same ppl turned out and again u lose first round. chances are third tourny person wont show up.

reasoning?

the trade off of paying 10 - 20 bucks and losing the first round (playing maybe 1 or 2 rounds) aint worth the 10 - 20 bucks

its cool if we do tournies because hell we all kno each other but a noob getting wreck again and again paying 10 - 20 bucks each time... of course his gonna get discourage and not enter again

i guess you are right frank. that's why we should just have tourneys among ourselves. so since we all know each other that means everyone will play right? you too frankie right? if we do it i guess we could arrange matches by skill level so people could have more fun.

and you still haven't answer my other question yet. is nick gonna be there and mix some goose juice?

Okay I have some stuff to annouce and questions to answer.

1-Depending on where and IF we get together on friday I can put together a friendly tournament. I would just need everyone's participation and cooperation.

2-I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ON SATURDAY BECAUSE I HAVE A FOOTBALL GAME AND THOSE GO ALL DAY ALL NIGHT.

3-I agree with Frankie. It all depends on the persons point of view. Most get discouraged and will just give up. It's only cause we know eachother and it's all in good fun. And that's pretty much how it's done at UH now.

Does everyone remember that nice T-Shirt I got from OC3? Some of you stressed how much you wanted one cause you never went. Well NOW YOU CAN BUY ONE!!!
Manacloud has made a new shipment of shirts and he wants to sell some to us.

Manacloud said because Hawaii was so awesome at Oc3, he is giving us a VERY SPECIAL OFFER
One shirt ANY SIZE (Small, medium, or large) for the low low price of $20.00. They were selling at Oc3 for as much as $30.00. And these are according to Mana high quality and look very nice. And for shipping he is going to only charge us $5.00.

Trust me (this is coming from someone who works in shipping and handling postage) this is very cheap. Shipping from the mainland to Hawaii in large quantities it not cheap esspecially since he'll probably have to send it by high priority mail. This is to ensure that the shirts get special attention and do not get lost in the mail. It happense way more than you would think. -_- So it's a nice discount.


He has 10 large, 25 mediums and 10 smalls up for sale. And he is gonna reserve them all for us if we choose to.

If you really want a shirt Temu, please let me know. We can work something out. I'd rather take advantage of this once in a lifetime offer and get a shirt. The money can always be made up later, but you will never get a smash shirt like this anywhere. I will most likely collect all the shirts and then I can mail yours to you seperately. Won't be so bad since it's inter-island postage. And one shirt won't be so heavy as a whole box. (provided we get enough orders)

You think about it. You have a week or so. And it's only 25 dollars. I'm only doing this for you since you're neighbor island and wouldn't be able to get one otherwise and I owe you alot for your hospitality on Maui. =)

I find this slightly ironic because you were one of the people who complained that Tom forgot to buy you a shirt when we initially went up there. In fact, it was because everyone was all "wow i want one of those shirts" that I've been talking to Mana for the past half a month of so working out this deal. (it took half a month because he actually had to make more shirts, not because I was bartering with him) And now we have a very good offer that I didn't even ask for. 20 bucks for a custom made event shirt is dirt cheap imo. And it's a video game shirt no less.

All I'm saying is that this will be the cheapest these shirts are going to get. And this is a one time deal. Yes Manacloud wants to get his shirts out to as many people as possible, and at the same time build promotion for his artwork etc. but he is giving us this sale because he loves Hawaii and is very grateful for our help and support during Oc3. I think that is very cool of him to remember us. I mean if you don't have the money I can assist some. But obviously I can't spot everyone. So let me know soon. Tanks. =w=

And just FTR, that Andross looks pretty weak.

just saying. i never really appreciated mana's artwork. plus it is just meaningless to get an oc3 shirt now. the good memory stays in my head even without the t shirt.

i agree; mana's art skills are kinda lost on me. while looking at the design i never thought "wow, i want that."

but if you want to wear the shirt, then more power to you i guess.

i cant make friday...i have a parade to do. and i heard that kawika thinks he can beat me. he said my flashyness is nothing. but hey, im one of the top in hawaii(as in top 25 or so...or maybe # 25 lol). sorry kawika but you dont stand a chance if you cant beat rob(talking to him if he ever reads this).
