Did you not get the full hit from sex kick? it didn't seem to go very far...maybe movements canceled out flying left Vs. Right

That actually doesn't happen. An attack negates the previous attacks knockback, explaining why in HRC co-op two Ganons punch in the same direction it goes the same distance as if two Ganons punched the same direction. And it was a full hit, if you could see the sparks.
