Can someone verify that you can Dair>Falcon Punch a marth at about 30%
You can't Dair to falcon punch anything at 30%, it doesn't stun long enough. It starts working around 60%, maybe 50% if you do it perfectly on FoD.

G-Reg, serious question time, what's the best way to mess with Sheik players and give them nightmares?
QFE

Also I find I have trouble with the Ice Climbers. Crouch Canceled Smashing so Air doesn't work. If I go for a Grab then the other smashes me. I still win most of them but it's kind of unnerving to not be able to 2 or 3 stock my brother.

vs ic you should play campy with platforms, use lots of run away bairs\dairs (nairs get CC'ed or shield slowed or something and u get smashed\grabbed), and forward b is great to seperate them or just set them both for combos. oh and knee them every time you can, dont **** with falcon punching nana or nair uair knee lol. that way you will be able to deal with them again asap. if you play cowardly (see: smart) enough , you shouldnt get grabbed alot and find the match not that bad. solo IC is like a lame low tier char but he can still edgeguard you just fine so watch out.

Mr. Reg.. you didn't TM your intro did you.. ;)
i dont even know what that means

i just went over the shiek matchup in some of my last posts

for ICs, i usually run around really fast and try not to get grabbed. thats priority no. 1. priority no. 2 is killing nana ASAP. i do this by doing well placed overBs, and dairs that land behind them so they cant shield grab. spaced nairs can also work well, just jump away asap or youll get grabbed. once you get them in the air, just uair a whole lot into knees. they combo like low tiers.

Hey g-reg, how do you kill space animals with the u-throw at like 60% and on? I can tech chase just fine and get damage until then, but killing out of throws is difficult. DIing towards you or behind you is an easy fsmash, but if they DI the uthrow away -- which they always will -- I don't know what to do.

What I always do d-throw >knee at 60% because for some odd reason EVERYONE always techs away on d-throw. I have almost never seem a tech towards me after a d-throw. All you have to do is go to training mode and figure out the muscle memory for kneeing after a teched d-throw and you're set and if it is near the edge you will almost always kill him.

Maybe they don't want to eat charged dsmash to the face. My friends used to tech backwards until I did that once and now he never techs towards me on anything, it's either tech in place, away or missed tech.

its like saying that you are screwed either way, dsmash they tech away, knee they tech towards. but it doenst matter actually you can reach them where ever they tech with almost anything if you knew where they'll tech.
and not everyone techs away. on the contrary, i have a friend that DI's away and techs towards you. quite confusing

That is why I was making a point that on d-throw people's tech isn't as random. Everyone I play always tech away on the first d-throw I do on them. I don't do it enough for them to realize to DI away > tech towards.

I'm G-Reg's official Falcon Apprentice. Watch me place with Falcon and make you proud, G-Reg!

Woot!!

Srsly, you're too good; I've learned alot from this awesome thread that is the spawn of your infinite knowledge of CF.

I have come to the conclusion that Captain Falcon is G-Reg reincarnated into a game except with only half the awesomeness.

~HolyMarth~

PS. Because you love C.F so much, I thought I'd show you my Dash Dance with him...And no, this isn't an edited Video.

Do not say just vain things.

Yes, I probably do know the actually percents to more combos but g-reg is still way better.

Funny, because peach is actually the least discussed character in this thread. I'm honestly going to research it and find every knee combo on her to bring justice to this match up. There isn't enough peach ownage that goes on.

That's the thing. Just by saying uair, uair, knee it doesn't do anything for anyone. I know that you can do uair uair knee on peach but maybe not at what percent. Do I do it right after the word go?

You can dair > nair > uair > knee but if I don't say at what percent then it does you no good. The fact of the matter is you can do dair > nair > uair > knee on every character ...its all in the percent.

hey p

im pretty sure there's no given kill move at 60%. What you can do that works sometimes is uthrow ftilt, then if they don't tech knee them.

the uthrow fsmash thing doesn't really work til above 80% or so

I didn't mean specifically 60%, but just rather arbitrarily stated that percentage as that is when it gets difficult for me to finish off Fox. If they DI the uthrow away, which they will always do, it's tough to land a knee or uair until 90-100%, and I'm thinking there's a more efficient way. With Sheik and Marth, you can pretty easily get off a knee around 70%; is that not so for Fox / Falco?

Neighborhood, dthrow, and tech-chase with a raptor-boost, then knee, as a mixup, at 50-70%. I love doing this to Foxes, but generally with Falco's I'll just use uthrows and regrabs because I don't want them to gain initiative.

Keep practicing, give it time.
And don't get into the habit of pressing L after an aerial, but pressing L when you hit the ground after an aerial. For awhile I was in the habit of doing that. Not good. =/

The neighborhood is where Falcon grew up. It was pretty cool but he accidently destroyed it.
